How We Met

Wandosa was born in Alabama, was sold from her birthfarm in 2005, moved to Indiana to a dressage training farm, lived there a year and was sold onto London, Ontario Canada to a Dressage teacher. Somewhere she was abused physically and treated roughly - something that no horse should go through and especially not a Lipizzan - they are very sensitive as are most Baroque horses. After 4 years there, she was no long wanted for various reasons - and it was "believed" by her owner then, that she was dangerous, so she was going for meat. Fortunately, the person who owned the stable she boarded in, knew the truth and contacted me to see if I could take her immediately as a companion for Tucker. Tucker needed a friend, and I couldn't believe that someone would want rid of a purebred, registered Lipizzan, let alone IMMEDIATELY. 24 hours after the phone call, she was on a trailer and on her way home - and this is where she will live for the rest of her life. She is a sweet, intelligent and wonderful angel and I can't imagine life without her..
