Color: Black with a bit of brown in his mane, tail and belly

Type of Riding: He is mostly for riding bareback and trails, but I really want to jump with him, But first I need to learn how to ride English.

My Horse's Achievements: He has almost achieved Lounging in a proper circle.

My Horse's Favorite Treat: Crab Apples and Carrots.

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: hang with Dolly, chase cows and jump the fences.

Pet Peeves: Not getting enough feed.

How We Met

In december of 2011, My opa bought him from a breeder not far from his farm. We got him as a Stallion and planned on breeding him with our mare Missy (Dolly's mom), but soon found out that he liked to Nip people. He was also getting very pushy and hard to handle, so we had to Geld him. Needless to say he is still pushy, but he has kicked the habit of nipping.

BTW... Bart is a Quarter Horse-Thoroughb- red cross we think. We know for sure the Quarter horse part but not the Thoroughbred part..

HI KIRTSYN AND HORSES!!
I BELIEVE....Jesus is coming back, maybe today. Are you ready?

Cantering by with a 60 degrees-and-no-wind day!!!! YAY!!! worked with Flicka. put on a combination of harness pad, rope and two large rings that Sharon gave me to put together. it didn't fall apart so i guess i can use it again! :~) long-drove her all around the property. she stopped a little better that she did last time. Still pulls hard though

jumped Sweet Pea a bit too, but it DID NOT go well at all, so i guess i'll settle down and work on nothing but circles circles circles...AND lots of long trail rides. i think she really misses the trails because i don't ride on them as much as i used to since Cheri doesn't ride hardly, and when me and Andrea ride we don't go very far at all.

Happy trails to you and Bart. I have a stallion that LOVES to nip, and I don't think he'll ever stop. He's already about 16 though, so it will barely matter if we geld him! Sounds like a nice horse :)
