Sorry I haven’t been on as much as planned. I have been super busy with school and training Mac. This spring we will be competing in 1st level dressage which is new to both of us and have been working super hard.

good morning :)
i hope everyone one had a wonderful weekend and i want to start off by congratulating twilight, our march HOTM winner! you deserve every bit of it :) it was a COOOLD weekend here in virgina, it was only in the 30's yesterday but that didn't stop me from riding hahah horse crazy teenage girls....what can i say? ;) me and zig had a pretty good lesson despite the fact that it was freezing, the wind was blowing pretty hard and it was snowing. he was having a blast going around the course, he even had a couple random lead change fits like he used to do all the time when he'd get excited lol whenever i'd ask him to canter, he'd start up on the right lead, throw a lead change, and then another one to get back to the right lead for no apparent reason! and then finally on the last trip around the course he did a little buck/kick with his back left leg lol it was hysterical :D but he was wonderful! so here's a vote and i hope all is well

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, Cowboy Definitions:
1. Get Gaited - Get going in a hurry. Gait refers to the rate a horse moves, which is far faster, so "get going."
2. Get it in the Neck - Get cheated, misled, bamboozled.
3. Get my/your back up - To get angry. "Don't get your back up, he was only joking."
4. Get Shed of - Get rid of.
5. Get the Mitten - To be rejected by a lover. "Looks like Blossom gave poor Buck the mitten."
6. Get The Wrong Pig By The Tail - To make a mistake in selecting a person for any purpose. "I got the wrong pig by the tail in debating with that particular man.”
7. G'hal - A rowdy girl, reveler or ruffian girl.
8. Gig - Spur a horse.
9. Go Boil Your Shirt - Take a hike, get lost, bug off.
10. Gospel Mill - A church.
11. Gospel Sharp - A preacher.
12. Grab the Apple - Taking hold of the saddle horn to avoid falling off. Also called "grab the nubbin." In either case, this was not something a self-respecting cowboy wanted to be caught doing.
13. Grassed - To be thrown from a horse.
14. Greasy Belly - The camp cook.
15. Gully Washer - A hard rain.

What a cold & windy day in NC! I did spend a bit of time today cleaning Fancy's corral. I was on my way into the shed and Fancy nickered to me. I know the look, she wants time out. I actually promised her I would give her time out when I finished putting my yard tools away. The wind was blowing so hard when I came out of the shed that I forgot my promise to Fancy & was about to lock the shed door when Fancy nickered to me. She was standing at the gate patiently waiting for her time out. I told her Ok, you keep me honest! And back into the shed I went to fetch her halter and lead. On the way I was thinking to myself, I talk to this horse too much, she knows what I am telling her. I gotta stop talking soo much. LOL! I do love my sweet horse ♥
'C' had to visit his Trigger today. When we got there Trigg was across the creek. We called to him and he actually ran over. I think he thought it was supper time. 'C' gave Trigg a nice juicy apple. Trigg got himself a new nickname today. 'C' calls him Tigger now.
The rains held back and the winds were harsh, it was too cold to ride, but we had lovely weather this weekend.
