The History on the Gypsy Beauties

The earliest records of multi-colored horses (such as the gypsy horse) are from cave drawings estimated to be approximately 20,000 years old. In past times, such multi-colored horses were believed to be omens of good fortune.
The association of the Rom with horses is almost legendary. By tradition, the gypsy horse is involved in each and every aspect of family life...faithfully pulling the vardo by day, yet sufficiently amenable and patient to be the gentle mount of gypsy children when the day is done. Often staked out alongside the road with the family wagon in all types of weather when not "on the move," the gypsy horse lives and thrives for the most part by partaking of the grasses which happen to be growing where it is tethered. Hi I posted more pictures of BLAZZE,Buttermilk and Dusk but allot just a few. But Buttermilk was good last night when I rode him he staid at a canter until Harry went off.( a horse at Jackson's barn)so that spoiled that so I put Buttermilk back and then fed everybody and went to the house to eat dinner!
Here is my vote to every one of you horses/ horse!

Pixie Dust, belonged to our Facebook pal and HorseChannel member, Joanna Wicke. Joanna was loved by all who knew her. She was always positive and uplifting to others. Joanna welcomed Fancy and I to HorseChannel with unbelievable love and daily support. After a disturbing disappearance of Joanna, Sadie's owner, Joyce informed us that Joanna had passed away in her sleep at the tender age of 34 on September 23, 2011. It was only then that her many health conditions were revealed. Even though being confined to her bed for the past 9 years, Joanna never once revealed a single pain to us. What a remarkable YOUNG person to have as a friend.
It was in 1991 that Joanna & her mom purchased Pixie Dust to share with the Bloomfield Hills School Farm. For 7 years Joanna helped her mom create & teach Love-A-Pony, an afterschool & summer class for children.
