hey, how are you?
ive been busy,as usual. haha
it's been really warm here.
the last few weeks ive ridden have been really good, although last time i got bucked around a ton. i was riding with spurs cause ccricket has a habit of popping his shoulder and trynig to sidepass when i'm going around a corner and he wasn't listening to my leg, by the end of my ride he was listening really well so my says i'll just to repeat that over a few times and it won't be a problem anymore. i'm trying to save up for an english saddle cause i like western but i really like enlish. one of the mares out at the barn had a colt who is absolutaly adorable!

we would love your support, please
Before I bought Sterl May(read her how we met story please),I used to lease a solid bred paint mare, at a local boarding stable not far from home. Her name was Fool Kat, I leased because as an adult getting back into riding, I wanted to be sure before I bought my own horse. The barn owners thought that I should buy a foal and raise it up. One of the other riders at the barn heard this and she said she knew of someone that had a horse for sale for not too much $$$ she mostly wanted a good home for this horse. The only thing was, she was a STANDARDBRED, that didn't mean anything to me. I went to meet her, and I will never forget the feeling I had when I walked into her paddock, she tuRned to look at me, THOSE EYES, THOSE BEAUTIFUL EYES, she still has those beautiful eyes, thanks for your support, we left a vote too. I can't believe that today is Fancy's 5th birthday, I did not spend special time with her today because it is damp, cold, and windy outside. I did spend a few minutes with her after church. I also
spent time just watching Fancy and Trigger. There is plenty of hay to share, but Fancy was chasing Trigger away from the hay. He would pin his ears to look like he was about to make a deal of it, but he still just ran off.
I think my wrist are improving, but still not 100%. I am still having some weird feelings here and there. ✞ It hurts my heart to look at the HOTD today…that is no way to start a foal. Maybe old school does or use to but I am a total natural horseman believer. I hate that the baby has a bad start to its life-shame on that owner. I don’t know about the rest of you but I didn’t give congrats and I erased my blogged because it was not very nice what I wrote.

Big hi to all. Jessica came out Wednesday with her boyfriend, David. Sadie was bad. While Jessica picked her hooves, Sadie yanked her back hoof away. She bucked a couple of times, too, when Jessica rode her. She did okay with me. The strap on the saddle pinched a bruise on the inside of my left knee. Shouldn't have worn shorts. Found the missing fly mask, too. Jessica and I dumped Sadie's water trough to clean it out, and there it was. It had sunk to the bottom of the trough. I didn't think to check there. Good morning!
This has been a pretty busy week so far. Monday was cleaning, yesterday was a exam and a lot of drawing. I was working on some shirt designs for a friend of mine. I have to get them finished and sent this morning. I think the rest of the day will be some more cleaning and working on a drawing that is about half done. I am happy to say that the last week has been in the 60s and 70s...SPRING!!!!! Most of our snow is gone too! I am really looking forward to moving my horse soon. Here is a good night vote from our herd to yours. Hope you have enjoyed this weekend come rain or shine. The rains have set upon us for a few days to come. It feels relaxing, but chilly. I just watched Fancy and Trigger munching hay and while they ate their grain, I stood out in the rains to police Fancy. LOL. To keep Fancy from taking Trigger's grain. When I am in the house, I often look out at the flowers and to keep an eye on Fancy. My small flower garden has come a long way. I am going to bed soon. I am a bit tired.

We went to the horse show, but we did not take Fancy nor Trigger because I could not clean them up. I helped out in the arena giving out ribbons. That was as much fun as showing. I really learned a lot helping in the arena. I am so excited and hyped up to show!
My darling Fancy Walk N’s heel bulb is all healed up! I just hope she can stay out of trouble now!!!

Hi Ziggy, here's a vote for ya. Have a great time at the Junior Prom, you don't need a date to have a good time. This way you'll be able to dance with all the guys, not just one! Yep, it's really starting to feel like spring might just be here! Had some things to do this mornin'. The had a really good ride on Paige, Indy and I played of course. The the kids were out for pasture time, building up slow and steady to 40 minutes grass now. Mowed another pasture and 3/4 of the sides of in the indoor. Walk behind mower time tomorrow if it'll start! Probably move the LQ Trailer tomorrow or sunday and start to pack up for our first show of the season. Leaving on Wednesday! Hi Ziggy! So sorry it's been so long since I was online! I should be able to get online more now that tax season is over. Last week tax season ended, but my kitty also got really sick and ending up passing away on 4/20/13 so it's been a pretty tough week :( can't wait to get to talking with my HC friends again! Here is a fabulous Friday vote, have a great weekend :)
I spoke with the nurse this morning, I am not supposed to be putting any stress on my wrist yet. I thought after the 3rd day I could begin to do things. Our first horse show is this Saturday! Fancy won’t be going. If we can get Trigger cleaned up, we can take him. I wish I could get Fancy ready, but I don’t have anyone to help get her cleaned up really nicely.

♡ whinny’s & a click on your horseshoe! I am off work this weekend so I do intend to spend some much needed horse time. I plan to ride after work today and then haul out and ride Saturday. I will ride Sunday around my home area if it doesn’t rain and get things to wet. We will be adding the last 30 “t” post on number 3 turnout as well! Once that is done we can let them graze it and give #1 & #2 turn out a rest. Grass is growing pretty good but not so much that weeds could grow thank goodness! We will have our brush hog delivered next weekend so when stuff gets to grown or to many weeds we can jump on the tractor and take care of it!
