Hello and welcome to HC! Congrats on your senior! I have had 3 horses live well into their 30's. There are so many supplements, vitamins, etc. available today that our older horses can lead much better lives than their parents ever did. Look up Elmer Bandit, he was still competing in endurance racing into his late 20's!
