Sorry that I have not been on in a while! SO busy! All that happned with Le Soire is that he had a dentist appointment and I lunged him alot.

April 29 - Yesterday
I lunged Le Soire yesterday. He was really good and frisky! I also groomed him for about and hour and a half! He rolled in the mud before I got to the barn. :(Come visit me, Le Soir.

Feet & Lunging
I lunged Le Soire outside today! He was a good boy.
He got new shoes, and a new fly mask!

Checking Back In
Have not been on in a while. Le Soire got his teeth floated yesterday! He has to wear a cribbing collar now.

She was a 21 year old Shetland pony from Bloomsfield Hills, Mi.. Pixie's been a HC club member for over 3 years and 7 months. She belonged to our dear friend, Joanna Wicke. Joanna kept her at a farm where she was used for educational programs and pony rides at birthday parties. When Joanna passed away last September, Pixie followed her to Heaven 5 months later. April 9, 2012 - Cut!
Today I went out to the barn to see Le Soire. I was greeted with a long, yet not deep cut on his right barrel. We are lucky it was not bad enough to require vet services. I attached a photo of it below. There is some blood, as it just happened before I got there. I used Corona to help with the cut, I really reccommend the product. I put him in a stall, and the barn owner is going to do a full inspection of the pasture to find some clues to how this incident happened. Vote to help with healing, as I can't saddle him until he is healed. (I hire someone to ride him right now as I am recovering from ACL surgery - which is going great by the way!)Come visit me, Le Soir.

April 7th, 2012 - Yesterday
Yesterday was great! I went out to the barn with two of my friends, and we all lunged Le Soire, taking turns. We then brought him in to the barn to lunge him, and let him out to the pasture soon after. It was a great day overall!

Austin and I went to town Thursday, and he bought me the movie, 'War Horse'. We watched together. It's a great movie. Sad, too. Been needing to spend some special time with him. Hi! Sorry about the c/ps. It easier, because my internet is slow. Want to thank everyone for your support and votes for Sadie. It means so much.....I worked some on the corral Wednesday, putting up metal stripping on the wooden posts that hold the shade up. Hope it stands up to Sadie scratching her big butt against it. Spent some time with Sadie today. I love the way she follows me around. Got to start riding her more. The triple digit heat's on it's way. Not looking forward to it, either.........I'm so honored to be a member of the ANGEL CREW. Thanks for the vote and visit. Maybe our horses are a bit alike, Charlie can be lazy, but when he knows, that I mean work, he is wonderful. I like that he is easy because I ride alone and I'm not young anymore, safety first. He is just a nice easy going horse. Not at all typical TB. Like I said, the reason for the video, I don't ride or work him all winter, and the first time I put the saddle on in the spring is "like I rode him yesterday" Love that boy. I've been a member of HC since Jan,27,2010. I've met some of the most amazing people here. Made some wonderful friends who I love very much. I was blessed with the opportunity become friends with Joanna here and on FaceBook. What a beautiful, sweet spirit. Since Joanna passed away, many of us were and still are, heartbroken. Thank you for the comment on Charlie's(Royal Mes) video. Yes, he can be lazy. Once he has warmed up, and if you ask, he will work very nicely. The actual point of the video, was that we have had a long winter off. We were just glad to get out. He does nothing all winter, so it takes some time to get him conditioned. Hi!
Today my mommy visited me! She lunged me in the outdoor arena, as it was so nice and sunny out! She then brought me in to the barn to groom me. Another horse was being groomed in the barn and freaked out and reared up in the cross ties and broke her halter. I stood quietly in my cross ties though. My mommy loved that and said good boy about a thousand times and gave me a horse muffin treat! This week she is going to sign papers with my previous owner to agree that she offically owns me! Ya!

Pictures & Today
Pictures of Le Soire and I at the bottem of this page! Today I went out to the barn to lunge him (as I can not ride at the moment) and my friend went out to the pasture to get him and he kept galloping away. So I went in, walked right up to him, and put his halter on. It was so funny and I made fun of my friend as a joke for a little bit. I groomed him, as he was full of mud! Yuck! I did not lunge him as he was too stiff from all his spring shots. He should be better next time! Please vote, thanks!Come visit me, Le Soir.

March 22, 2012 - Missing You
I miss riding my fairly new horse Le Soire! I tore my ACL in my right knee in late January of this year, and had surgery on March 1st. Can't ride until October/September of this year. I go out to visit Le Soire and lunge him, groom him, etc. Any other ideas on how to make my horse life more exciting WITH Le Soire???Come visit me, Le Soir.
