Spencer is the only horse on here that is really mine. when i was eight years old i wanted a horse and my parents said that we could look around. So we looked at other horses that didnt really fit for what i needed as a scared young girl. I still remember five years ago we went to look at a white gelding that was 18 years old and blind in one eye. least to say i was not happy at all because i had in mind a young black thoroughbred with 4 white socks and a blaze that could jump the moon and back. Well that is most certantly NOT what i got in Spencer. While we were there i was too scared to even touvh him all that much :) so my mom, uncle and pappy all looked for me. they lunged him a little, picked his hooves, brush him and lead him a round. We liked him, so we brought him home for a one month trial, to make sure he is what we wanted. we had 2 other horses on our foarm at the time that we brought him home. so we had to introduce them to each other and soon they became friends and galloped through the feilds and ate their food together. the very first time i rode him i was walking along and he got spooked and started running, my little white dog started running after him nipping at his heels and barking. me onboard screaming. I wanted off and i wanted off NOW! but my mom wouldnt let me get off, for this i am so glad. so we decided to buy him. $500 and he was mine. now for the first year i didnt ride him almost at all, because i had no training and no confidence. then i started to ride more and more and now we have riden everywhere and have done everything!
