History
I thought I would give you a background on Buttercup-
Buttercup is actually a very sad story: she came from a slaughter auction I
here in pennsylvania. She was extremely thin and had absolutely no meat or muscle on her. We (being the rescue that I work with) knew we needed to save this baby girl. We bought her for a whopping 50 dollars and loaded her up and took her home. We got home and unloaded her, she was the sweetest little girl and was very kind and calm considering the circumstances.the . We got home we looked through her information and found that she had been used as a circus pony to give rides to little kids. She had also been found just standing in a saddle and harsh bridle without food or water and we also saw that she WAS IN FOAL!!! What a shocker that was for us! A few months later out popped No Name :-P we called him "Demon" because he was constantly causing trouble. When we decided to evaluate her to place her for adoption she instantly found a loving foster home for her and soon we found the most perfect family for her AND her foal. They are now In a perfect family full of little kids they play with and give rides to.Come visit me, Spencer, Gizmo, Buttercup, Gemstone Rabbit, Moose, Jetta & Pumpkin.

Austin and I went to town Thursday, and he bought me the movie, 'War Horse'. We watched together. It's a great movie. Sad, too. Been needing to spend some special time with him.
