Don't know where to leave this
My horse, Dublin #249459, passed away yesterday morning. He had a fungal tumor in his guttural pouch. I lost Fancy #249357 in Jan. of this year.Come visit me, Indy, Angel Dublin & Angel Fancy.

Hi Rainbow Bridge, here's a vote for ya. So we're in the summer of 1999 and H.T. got better in june, but then by mid july he was moving funky behind. I had my vet out, he suggested pulling blood for EPM, since severl horses in our area were on the meds for it. Blood work came back positive, to really rule out if he needed the expensive meds, I got him admitted to Mid_Atlantic Equine Hospital for a full work-up. And one vet said hocks, other vet said let's run the spinal tap just to be sure. I watch the entire procedure of the spinal tap. He was heavly sedated. Very interesting. We then went with some hock x-rays and came up with a little goings on in the left hock. Decided to do hock injections as we were there and he was still under. Results came back from the double viles of spinal fluid as negative in the spinal cord. Good news. Withing 7 days he was totally sounds and off to the Palomino show where we kicked some butt and won it all! Happy ending on that one!
Didn't get down to Paige today. Truck was in shop, it was the starter! Only it wasn't bad, it was the four bolts that hold it in place had been worked lose and it rotated and caused the problem. Bob my regular mechanci and I are both wondering how 4 bolts all come that lose at once. We have our suspusions on how!
Got to the dentist and got my tempory crown glued back on and things are going in the right direction again.
