Beautiful horse!
Friesans are some of the most beautiful horses! I love the story. My horse, Jazzi, was rescued from a home of neglect and abuse, so I am very touched by rescue stories. I voted. =DCome visit me, Jazzi, Nugget & Honey.

here's a sunny, gorgeous day vote for you all! it is sunny with puffy white clouds and a strong breeze that dried everything off. i went riding Wednesday evening with my friend Andrea :~). she has a 3 year old paint, Twist. we just went around the field lane at a walk. it was the first time i rode her since Saturday. i would love to ride today if i have time...
my sisters and i are making a home movie. my friend Danika and i wrote it about 2 years ago as a play, now we are just adding some scenes and filming it. maybe i'll put it on HC, tho its not really a horse video. its about a city girl who has to get west because of an illness. she hates it at first and is scared of everything, but my the end of the summer, she doesn't want to go home, but she must convince her aunt to let her come back. it lacks originality, but we had fun making up the different scenes, especially where she falls off her horse. I am playing the CITY GIRL (Katy), my 11 year old sis Heidi is the COUNTRY GIRL (Nickki) and my other 9 year old sis Kayla is playing the mean old aunt. Sweet Pea will be the horse i fall off of, from a standstill of course. i can't wait.
hey did you all see that they put Parelli's "Hit the Trails" set of DVDs up for 400, 000 points? i would so love to get them, but it will be another 3 years till i save up that many points, my goodness.

had a nice practice last evening at Sharon's. About 11 other people were there, so Sweet Pea got the feel of being around a lot of horses. She did good, but we are going to have some competition :~).
it was really dark and stormy looking as i hurried home, but thankfully it didn't rain, and today it is slowly getting clear, but it is very humid. I hope its nice tomorrow!
i plan to give Sweetie a bath this evening so she's nice and clean for the rodeo.
i have been asked to give riding lessons to two girls (ages 9 and 11). Their mom just wants them to have some beginning exposure of being around a horse and fun learning about them. the first lesson will be after their school lets out, probably not till June. they will come for a couple hours on Monday or Friday.
i'll have to teach them with the Western saddle because the English one doesn't fit Sweet Pea, but that will probably be better anyway. so now i have to teach Sweet Pea how to lunge-wish me luck!
Susan, you're an instructor, can you give me a basic outline of what i should teach them in the first lesson, second lesson, and so on? thank you so much!!
as some of you already know, my new camera arrived yesterday, but sadly, Dad's going to send it back because it takes batteries. and i would go through ssooooooo many batteries :~) so he's going to get another one for me. but he's going to let me use his camera for the rodeo. I am just sooooo excited! i just know Sweet Pea is going to do GR8! and even if she doesn't win anything, i'll still be proud of my wonderful girl.

hello all! It's wet and cloudy today, so no riding probably. Yesterday it rained too, i hope it dries off before Saturday! yesterday we were at my grandparents all day. that was fun, then in the evening me and my sisters played baseball with the neighbor children and i am soooo sore!! i can't believe it! i can ride all day and not be one bit sore, then i play baseball for an hour and i hurt all over!!
