Hi! I had a great week. My daughter graduated from college, my mother came all the way from Virginia to visit, I had a fun cook-out with friends, went trail riding every day in beautiful weather, and sold some unwanted extra tack for big $$$. Good times!
Luna must be "feeling her oats" a lot lately, because she tests me almost every ride. Actually, that's a good thing, because it teaches me to pay attention to her body language. I'm always up to learn more about my mare!

I had a great ride today. Luna is testing me less and less now. I'm working on leg aids because I ride her in a bitless bridle, which she responds well in, but I want to depend more on my legs and less on the reins.
After my ride, I did something I haven't done in years... I laid down in a wide open meadow and just looked at clouds for a while. It was a great stress reliever!
