Week two of the HOTM run, Woohoo!
Question of the day: Has your horse ever been in a near death situation and lived to tell about it? ( or rather whinnny about it)
A long time ago when my fencer wasnt working Dakota used to break out of his fence all the time, and several times ran down the middle of a busy tar road near our place, but never got hit. Another time he was inside his 3-sided shed when a tornado picked it up and completely demolished it, and somehow never got a scratch.
If your horse has ever been in a near death situation, I would love to hear about it!

Hey everyone, Turned out to be a rainny day, But still got time for the boys, Tex fell asleep while talking to him, must be boring.LOL! JD just wanted kisses, which he got, Didn't have time to stick a apple in my pocket, as I wanted to get done before it started to pour down. So Tex got his day off, & JD, didn't get the first ride I was hopeing for, Oh well.Aslong as all are happy, and an up-date on my job is:My boss (Quinn) wanted me to do 6hrs, and I only wanted to do 4 so I decided not to go.Which is fine, Because I do prefer to be here with my own horses, Plus I'm giving kids lessons on Tex, So I'll soon have my barrel saddle I wanted.

im not still learning to ride, he said most people who have horses that only back a certain way dont know it, plus i know alot and have had experience with horses bfr, im not new to this stuff, only training but im spending all next summer doing it so i should be good. and im only trying, gotta take chances to make things happen! I don't know what to say but thanks y'all for being so nice and supportive during this month! It really means a lot to me and Logan! No matter what happens tommorow I just want you to know that everything y'all have done for me with the votes and the spreading the word about my running it means a lot! I just want y'all to know that so far this entire month y'all helped me get 432 votes! Like I said no matter what happens tommorow, me getting hotm or me not getting it all that y'all have done means a lot. Had a Great Day with Misty and Laura.
So today in Maryfield it was finally cool so we could ride durning the day! Went out this am to give JD his meds! Then we went back to ride Tex, but then dad came and told us there was a tornado warning . So after that we went back and finally got to ride tex, Laura was barrel racing tex. Wow! can he barrel race. 19 seconds was his fastest. Then we came home to get JD's meds and some carrots for them. When we were there I managed to catch Misty who was a pleasure to work with! Love you lots Misty!

My dream horse- My Dream horse would be a 17hh hanoverin bay jumper~
