How We Met

My grandpa had bought a mare to have a foal at the farm so that my sisters, cousins, and I could all get the experience of a foal. Lucky had been born on April 15 and since then I had spent whatever time I could with him. I have always wanted my own horse my entire life and I thought Lucky could be the one. I never asked for him though cause the plan was just to have Duchess (his mama) and Lucky up until it was time for Lucky to be weaned and then they would be sold. But then one day my grandpa had asked me if I really wanted Lucky to stay. Of course I wanted him to stay but I also wanted whats best for him. So I (after what seemed like forever) said yes and before I could say another word haha my grandpa started talking about what was to be done if he stayed and how we would have to register him and that would be done in my name! Not an outright Lucky is yours but I got the hint. I was so happy I could hardly contain myself! So that's how I got my very fist horse! A way I never ever could have imagined and a dream I thought to far to reach but it happened and it was reached! The funny thing is I never would have guessed that to be the way I got my first horse..
