Had some Sadie time today. We both need it everyday. It's getting hot here, so I didn't ride. I put the halter on her and walked her off the property. She was a little nervous, so we took it slow, stopping when she needed to to look around and see that she was okay. Neighborhood dogs were barking at us. She walked a little fast on the way back to the house. Had to keep stopping her to slow her down. She loved it. Going to walk her more often to get her use going off the property. Going to work up to riding her. Last time I rode her off the property, she was nervous and wanted to fight me. She should trust me more now. Hugs and a vote. Went out to check on Sadie when I got home from work last night. She'd torn her fly mask off. It lasted 10 days. Hope to someday move away from the egg ranch. The flies are horrible. I hope all of you moms had a beautiful Mother's Day. I had to work, but didn't mind. Being a mom and loving my sons and they loving me in return is what makes it so special. An emotional week this week. My oldest son, a Msgt in the Air Force, leaves the end of this week for 3 years in Germany. He and his oldest son celebrate their birthdays this week, too. FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS: Happy Mother's Day!!!
I have an aunt that has her birthday the day after my birthday, this month. My mom & I spent time with her today because she is in the hospital after falling out of bed. She seems to be ok. But I did not have a lot of Fancy time today. I am looking forward to my time with Fancy. Our weather today was cloudy, finally the rains came in.

Sadie's a handful. She does need to be worked with a lot. Wish my time wasn't so limited. Looking forward to the day when I can have more time with her. She deserves it. Sassy Miss Sadie's doing good. She's keeping her fly mask on, but has torn holes in it. I dumped her water trough out to clean it and found her old fly mask in it, again. While I filled the trough with fresh water, she blew bubbles in it. So silly. Heat's hitting triple degrees next week. Time to buy another misting system. Big hi to all. Jessica came out Wednesday with her boyfriend, David. Sadie was bad. While Jessica picked her hooves, Sadie yanked her back hoof away. She bucked a couple of times, too, when Jessica rode her. She did okay with me. The strap on the saddle pinched a bruise on the inside of my left knee. Shouldn't have worn shorts. Found the missing fly mask, too. Jessica and I dumped Sadie's water trough to clean it out, and there it was. It had sunk to the bottom of the trough. I didn't think to check there. Here is a good night vote from our herd to yours. Hope you have enjoyed this weekend come rain or shine. The rains have set upon us for a few days to come. It feels relaxing, but chilly. I just watched Fancy and Trigger munching hay and while they ate their grain, I stood out in the rains to police Fancy. LOL. To keep Fancy from taking Trigger's grain. When I am in the house, I often look out at the flowers and to keep an eye on Fancy. My small flower garden has come a long way. I am going to bed soon. I am a bit tired.

Saturday vote 4 U! Do enjoy this great weekend :)
We went to the horse show, but we did not take Fancy nor Trigger because I could not clean them up. I helped out in the arena giving out ribbons. That was as much fun as showing. I really learned a lot helping in the arena. I am so excited and hyped up to show!
My darling Fancy Walk N’s heel bulb is all healed up! I just hope she can stay out of trouble now!!!

Big hi. Sadie's doing well. I didn't get anytime with her Monday. I'm sure she's mad. I sent Austin's hair to Locks Of Love Monday morning. Had a busy day, Wednesday. Jessica came out to ride Sadie. Afterward, I picked Austin up at school. He got his long hair cut for Locks of Love. We met friends at Cracker Barrel for dinner. I forgot and left my keys in the car. Had to call someone to get my car unlocked. Went shopping for Austin some clothes for his induction into the National Honor Society on Monday the 22nd. HI!!! Here is a Happy Easter vote for you!
I am so happy to be able to blog and vote! Saturday I got my job list caught up and the brace is helping with the swelling, pain, & numbness. I have missed interacting with you all. I will blog and vote often as I can depending on my physical situation.
Saturday afternoon we went to the farm to take pics of my brothers and their friend as they rode out. I rode Buttercup in the field, well, my brother lead me on her. When he got her she did not like anyone. Now, she knows who he is and she only wants to listen to him! I could not ride her without him leading her. I did not want to get into a tussle with her either because my wrist are weak. I did enjoy the short ride in the field though!!!
Fancy's wound continues to improve. I was afraid to let her get her kicks out, but I let her out for a while Friday. She ran! Bucked, kicked, & ran more! There was NO limping, no swelling, no bleeding. I did put some bell boots on her before I let her out. Does any one know if it is ok to allow her to wear bell boots all day or night? I took them off when I put her back in the stall. The bell boots covers that wound so I think they will help if I leave her out. I don't know anything about bell boots because I have never used them.
If you saw our last video, don't worry, Fancy was not in any danger. Fancy has been goin up them stairs since she was 10 months old. When we go there more often she walks up them better than I do. They are in the park and there is grass on both sides. I never let her walk down. I think the pool noodle getting under her leg made her feel funny because the first time she was unsure. After I
