How are you doing? Wow, it's been a long, long time since I blogged properly on here! This has been the craziest summer ever. I'm always busy and somewhat insane but I think I've taken both to a new level because I've been insanely busy. :)
Without boring you with too many details I'll just say that I've had to take several road trips for work and the past 3 weeks I've been literally working day and night to meet a deadline. But, it's good to keep busy, right? I just miss my nighttime blogging.
Thank you so much for stopping by for Eddie's win for hotd. I was gone when Prince won and in between trips when Eddie won. But it sure was nice to read all the congrats and to see them in the spotlight again.
Pippin is doing is great as are the big boys. I see them once a week to drive and I really like driving a lot. I still wish I could ride but I'm happy that not only do I get to spend time with horses but I get to drive them.
I take Pippin out as much as I can. Not every day like we're used to because I'm so busy but at least several times a week, even if it's just a walk.
Just the other evening I took him out for a cart ride with Melian. He hadn't been out for about a week and was feeling the need to stretch his little legs.
We were going at a nice trot for a mile or so. Once he warmed up properly he wanted to go faster so I set him at a fast canter. That got Melian interested in a race. They love racing each other!
So, she started teasing him by zigzagging back and forth under his nose and he chased her trying to nip at her bony butt.
Suddenly she did a rollback and accidentally rolled back onto her butt. She was SO mad. I think she felt embarrassed and she let out a huge growl. It was plain that she blamed Pippin and she let him know.
That got him going and he took off at an earth shattering gallop. It was the fastest I have ever seen him pull a cart. It felt like it was going to explode into a million tiny parts. Wow, that was fun! He ran like that for over a mile. What a rush!
That had me smiling and he got a nice bounce to his step. I'm sure you agree that there's nothing like a good ride or drive to bring things back into perspective.
Thanks for sticking by me even though I've not been around. I'm getting caught up on my blogs today (I hope) but I'm not sure how often I can blog. Still lots of work to do.

PPS I thought that this was cute enough to mention. The other night we were watching Olympic showjumping and Melian saw the horses on the screen. She loves running with the horses and she growled and tried to catch one as he went over the jump. :)Come visit me, Prince (Rest in peace sweet Tiny girl.), Pippin (Tiny is forever in our hearts) & Eddie (Our BIG boy!).

HI, left a vote. Rode Logan again yesterday, he did great. Didn't lunge him this time, just tacked him up and off we went. Rode out in the field again by ourselves, he was vocal, but not as bad as the day before. Will do it again today. We have a trail course, playday, and trail ride coming up this Saturday, so that is why I am riding him everyday, want to get to know him, and for Logan to get to know me a little before we go on Saturday. He enjoyed his extras treats for being hotd. Come visit me, Toby & Amber.

Please Help Tex get his HOTM~
Hey guys! It rainned last night, and today it looks horrible out there, So maybe a ride later maybe not. Dad is taking our first bull Ben to the auction mart tomorrow, Will miss him. Then on Thursday Quinn is coming to give me a lesson, and to have some horsey time together, & Maggie, My dog is going to the vets for a check-up as last week she had 6 seizures! Hope she'll be okay! HI, left a vote. Thank you all so much for Logan's HOTD! I will give him extra treats today and tell him why. I posted more pics from yesterday. I went out and lunged him, did some groundwork to see where he was at, rode him in the arena, then decided he was being so good, that we should go outside and ride. I rode him in the field, he whinnied a lot, but listened to me, and did great. I don't think he has been out by himself, so this will be something for us to work on. I thought he did great, he hadn't even been there for 24 hrs. and here I am asking him to ride out by ourselves, what a trooper! Getting ready to go ride today. Come visit me, Toby & Amber.

Hey, friends so found out its official! I'm bringing Person's Pride (Pride) home on Sunday! I'm so excited!
Today I'm going to give my little brother and sister who are 7 a riding lesson its so cute to see them ride they look so small on Comanche's back (Nitesky's Oreo) lol.

Here's a vote for yah! Going out to see Logan today! I'll be there with treats in my hand while he gets shoes, sadly his gravel hasn't improved much. I'm hoping he will get better soon and I'll be able to ride in that show on the 15th! But like I said if he isn't better by than I'm not going to risk him get another injury and have to wait longer to ride him again. Any horsey plans today? Left you a vote!
