I am from Valdosta, GA and I've been a Club Horse member for 10 months and 27 days
Nicknames: PShad
Age: Less than a year old
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Oldenburg
Height: 16.2
Color: Black
Type of Riding: He is my Dressage prospect
My Horse's Achievements: I acquired PShad from the breeder who reclaimed the colt at about 5 mo old. PShad had issues, no fault of the breeder. PShad required 6-9 mo of stall rest due to the previous issues but also had hock surgery. This surgery was the straw that broke camel's back..he coliced. We caught immediately. Once stable we admitted him to an equine nursing facility (Always There). PShad bounced back immediately. With all the poking prodding, wraps, sweat wraps and their changes, injections, bute, SMZ and other foul tasting meds, this young stallion has accepted all this with a grateful and loving attitude. It is hard for people to believe he is still a stallion and be so well behaved...this in part to his sire and dame. He is and will be a fantastic horse to work with and I admire his ability and work ethic. When he sees us coming to the barn he meets us at the gate with a loving eye and follows very closely. With all the health issues...this horse could have been ill tempered dared anyone to come near him, instead he is very loving and understanding. he continues to stand perfectly STILL for wraps when he has boo boos. I all ways wanted to raise a baby...and, in my eyes, he is perfect.
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Food
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: He just loves being with people, he loves playing with Harley, our Lab mix grand pup; creating mischeif with my other two geldings.
Pet Peeves: Not getting enough food...and being locked out of the other's stall because he likes to help them a member in good standing of the Clean Plate Club
My Horse's motto: One Day at a Time
