Leaving a vote:) Jasper and I had a great jumping lesson last night I got to take him higher then he has ever gone before which isn't that high but I was still really proud. We were both really sweaty and sore by the end lol. Other then that I had a pretty good day except my sugar glider got out of his cage (if you don't know what that is its basically a tiny flying squirrel) I found him but was really scared he was dead or got outside:0 Today my trainer asked if I could come help at the barn because a physical therapist and a couple of kids with disabilities are coming out to ride so I'm looking forward to that.

Hi Deacon, here's a vote for ya. I got mine through United Equine Vet on line. Well phone order. It's by Farnam. It's a roll on and it works well. Of course after I ordered and got the new one, I found two more in the tack room! Wish I would look before ordering things. It's only like $5 so it's not a biggie! LOL! What a heat wave today but the rains are coming tomorrow ! My lab Grant had a blast swimming all day and playing with Anka & Alliance in their pastures today! If he could EVER be with Darling in the Andaman Sea ocean side they would be INSTANT pals! VIVE THAILAND! So far no news on my rescue Darling, so no news is good news, hopefully. Takes longer over here in Europe & Asia for info on animals. Yesterday I got a cinch for my English saddle. It is a size 34 but when I tried it on Cherokee it wasn't long enough. I tried it on Dakota and it wasn't long enough for him either?! Do I just need girth extenders or do I need a longer cinch? I have a pic of the saddle on Misty's page.

big day today! michael decided he wanted to try riding again. it's been about 16 years since he's been on a horse. he rode smooch. did a nice little jog around the arena a few times. i was impressed that smooch didn't bat an eye when this 6ft/250 lber got on his back! he's mostly used to young girls. glad it went well.
my horses were never bothered by shots until recently. godiva and smooch get sore necks now. i always split them like you mentioned but those 2 have to get them on separate days. are you going to tell how to make the horse shoe? you're very clever.Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

Well it was a bad start to our Tuesday sisters horsey time! It had rained quite a bit before and the pasture was still wet and muddy...not to mention the horses were covered in mud. So we postponed our day to this Tuesday. I hope we have better luck. Yesterday the farrier came and the horses got their hooves trimmed. It has been really HOT here too! Have a great weekend! HI, here is a vote. Just got home from a horse club meeting. I am glad I do not have to get up early, NO School!!! I asked my husband to give out the watermelon today because my wrist was tender and the melon weight was a bit much today. My husband gave all of it to
Fancy. He said Fancy loves watermelon so much like a special treat. Poor Trigger, he had none. Trigger came over and when he got no watermelon he went back to the hay. Next time I will give out the watermelon. I told my husband you have to split it between them.
Time for bed and we are still having rain showers every now and then.

I also hate Thunderstorms! Those among us who are more sensitive tend to dislike such electrical activity.
Not long ago, I met a Native American woman (Iroquois). I told her I was born and then Christened in a T-storm. My mother was concerned about it.
My Native American friend told me it was a sign that I would live my life in the air. I am not familiar with that belief, but at the time she did not know me -- she was our new Postmaster (or Postmistress as lady PMs are called in Britain). She did not know of my younger days, however I was a flight attendant for many years and also flew through many storms. When I told her, she was not surprized. Well now, does your 'Deacon' has a birthday in May through early June, by any chance? If so, he's an 'air sign' (Gemini), like me, and that may be relevant. My TB is very jumpy during T-storms.
