I used to ride every other day but now that I have Scout I ride pretty much everyday.I like taking Scout for a ride almost everyday and sometimes my brother comes along and rides Dakota. I didn't ride bareback yesterday but I did take Misty for a gallop in the snow(we have almost a foot of it) and later Ethan and I took Scout and Dakota for a ride down the gravel road. Misty was super spunky and didn't want to slow down, but Scout behaved perfectly.I hope you get some better riding weather soon. good morning :)
i hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! i first off just want to congratulate Logan on his December HOTM win! He ran a wonderful campaign, as well as cutter! you're all winners to me <3 i want to personally thank all of you who supported zig in his run, it truely means the world to us and we can't thank you enough. but congrats logan and enjoy your month in the spot light. you totally deserve it :)
ziggy was PERFECT yesterday for our lesson. we practiced jumping a 21 inch cross rail with two strides in between to an 18 inch cross rail. he was super clumsy as normal while trotting over them and he kept stopping right before the jump so i had to circle him around and try again. but then we cantered and he did fine. although a few times he lost his tempo inbetween the jumps and just walked over the second one. i've found it easier just to canter the jumps rather than trot them. for the most part he did wonderful :) i uploaded new photos on his page so go checkem out if you can....i think you all will enjoy the first one ;) anyways here's a vote and have a blessed day!

I ussually ride Misty every other day but since we are going to go look at the free horse tommorow I probably wont ride her. Hopefully we will get the horse and I can ride him! Hi Diamond, here's a vote for ya. Yeah I get to ride just about everyday. I have an indoor arena and I'm retired from work! So I just play with the horses all day long now. I love life! LOL! What a great day riding today. Cool, even in the indoor, was 33 when I started in there and about 40 when I finish. But it was great. Paige was just awesome, so slow and collected and stayed on the verticle! I decided to ride Indy in his training bosal, he hasn't been in it for a long time. He was awesome in it, he's the boy who hates bits and was just a dream to pleasure on with his bosal! Guess who'll be in the bosal most of the time! Come visit me, Nuttin But Good. I finally had a day off Monday. Haven't been able to ride in a couple of weeks. I twisted my left foot a week ago last Friday. It's still sore and swollen. No complaints from Sadie, especially since she's been enjoying the bag of apples I bought for her. Thanks for all of the votes for Sadie. Hugs and a vote in return.
