How We Met

Chance was a camp horse at The Bar 60 Ranch my daughter Abby(12yrs old) was attending. Abby showed more interest in horses then she has in anything her whole life. Because of her love for horses & the dedication she was showing, we decided to purchase Chance even though we really couldn't afford to buy a horse. My husband & I decided we had to do whatever it took to purchase Chance. This was a life changing moment in Abby's life. We couldn't pass up this oportunity & I'm very glad we didn't. Chance is a gift to our whole family. He has given us the gift of bringing the whole family together to bond, to share our love for horses & most of all our whole family being able to spend time together. He is being boarded at the stable where Abby went to the horse camp. The owner of the Ranch told me that she has seen Abby change into a whole different child. She was very shy & quiet. Now she just lights up around the horses & is a very hard worker. She loves to help out with anything the ranch needs help with. With the way Abby acts, you'd think she'd been around horses her whole life & knows it all. It's so cool to see the transition in Abby's personality around the horses. She use to be afraid of the horses & so timid. Now, she's a totally different child when it comes to being around the horses. She is so confident & she is so alert. I think Abby was born to be a horse athlete. I wish we could afford to put her in some kind of event but for now she's learning about horses and she's happy & i'm over the moon happy..
