one question though. HOW DID YOU GET ON HER BACK WHEN YOU CANT EVEN RIDE AN MINI HORSE??? you also said that she is skittish and that you cant toutch her. she is also pregnat, so how could you even ride her when shes pregnet?! PLEASE answer those questions and poxt them on my page.

Coco Is excellent. I got to ride her bareback really fun but she is skittish when I got on her
. She is the queen. With her she has a alpaca named Dolly and 2 norigien dorf goats. She was never trained so my aunt might train her to drive. I love herCome visit me, Coco.

Update on coco
My aunt said that she bought 2 baby goats that are 7 pounds. I am going to try a join up with coco. If that does not work I will sit as much as I can some were so she can get my trust .Come visit me, Coco.

I didn't ride today; I decided to work on ground work and it went well. We worked on backing though gates, lateral movement away from pressure, and changing direction while lunging. It wasn't a smashing success, but I could tell Luna was starting to get the idea. I will repeat the same lessons for the next few days until I'm sure she understands.

Here's a vote to brighten your Monday!
Next month I'll have had Luna for a year, and I can't believe how far we've come. She's always been a good, solid, mellow horse, but she was pretty much a follower and just wanted to do whatever the other horses on the trail ride were doing. But now, a year later, we are becoming a real team. She responds great to leg aids, she is free lunging well with just body language signals, and we are currently working on making clean, tight circles in the arena. Not bad for a mare who is only ridden bitless! I am very proud of both our progress, and she is such a delight to own! I know, I'm bragging a bit, but I am real proud of her LOL.

I hope she eventually learns to trust you. If she is pregnant, then at least you know her foal will get good care and will trust people. Do you plan to keep the foal and raise it? That would be cool. I've never trained a foal before.

I totally got to canter yesterday (I know, for you youngsters that's no big deal, but I'm an "old lady" so it's a huge adventure LOL)! I was on a trail ride with friends and Luna was kind of lagging behind. She realized she was being left behind, so she trotted a couple of strides, then broke into a wonderful, exciting, breath-taking canter, and it was the most fabulous thing that has happened to me in awhile. I am going to try to do that again today! I love horseback riding!!
