My Horse's Achievements: Chance is a very good behaved gelding. He is my first horse and he is very affectionate. Chance has always loved people and he has always tried to greet them by sticking his face up to them a s if he were saying " Hi, I'm Chance, what's your name? Do you want to be my friend?" He is boarded at the old owners barn. His old owner has two saddle horses there and a long horn, a few bulls, and a Brahma named Duchess. Chance is one of the twenty miniature horses there. In one of the pens there are only seventeen minis and each gelding protects a mare in their herd. Two of the geldings protect each other because they are kinda new. Chance protects all of the mares and geldings. Three of the minis are separated from the herd because one of them is a mare named Cheyenne and her best friend Velvet. The third mini is Cheyennes colt who is two months old. Velvet acts like the Grandma of the colt. The colts name is Gunner. Chance is very close friends with Velvet and Cheyenne. I have gotten permission from Gunners owner who is Chances old owner to train Gunner. Last I halter trained Gunner and my dad took him out into the indoor arena and Chance and Gunners stood next to each other and they groomed each other. Gunner and Chance are buddies now and Chance is kinda like a step father to Gunner I guess. When Chance first met Gunner he Gunner was only about a day and a half old. When Chance saw him through the fencing of the grooming stall he was in to the stall next to him where Gunner and Cheyenne were. When Chance saw him he turned around so he could see him completely and he started stomping his hooves and jumping up and down like her was yelling, " Look, look it's Cheyennes baby! it's here! It's a foal, it's a foal! Look, look, do you see it?!" Chance is also very intelligent and he knows exactly what to do. Chance has these moments that are like what people have. They are these moments where he is very calm and then he goes all crazy and then after about five to ten minutes he is very calm again. It is a wild burst of energy. I call his moments like that his Stallion Moments because most stallions will be all fiery and wild. Chance will have a stallion moment and then he can turn it off just like that. Because Chance is a pinto mini he if fast and intelligent.
