Type of Riding: At this time we are only going on trail ride in riding with friends. I hope in 2 years shadow will be taking Lily and to 4 H. and I hope to be able to give my to granddaughters due in December on their first ride with her.
My Horse's Achievements: Shadow has carried me and my children Through KSHA and 4 H. she taught my daughters and son how to ride after riding the mule lady B. shadow is my best friend and has supported me through 3 strokes and a mild heart attack. My 4 year old granddaughter has been riding her for a year.
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Shadows favorite treat is anything that tastes like apples.
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Shadow enjoys her relaxation time. Shadow enjoy speed events barrels poles and loves to chase cows.
Pet Peeves: Shadows biggest pet peeve is she would rather walk around water then walk through it.

How We Met
In 1994 me and my children went to a horse sale. shadow was in the back row of the sale barn. I heard her winnie and saw her looking at me and knew she was the horse of my dreams. I called my now husband Scott and ask him if we could purchase her. me and my children waited all day shadow was the last horse to come in and we bought her for 400 dollars. my husband found that she was a registered arabian and took me to Garden City to get her papers from her previous owner. shadow took me and my daughter Mary to the Kansas State Fair arabian horse show ten years to the day of my daughter marry had been born. in a class of 20 shadow place third and Western Pleasure against highly trained show horses. While atlonger a KSHA horse show, she carried Mary to a 2nd place win over a $10,000 quarter horse..
