I used to ride a horse named Winter Hawk, who was Sam's "buddy," at a local stable. I saw Sam a lot, and he was always really friendly. When I found out that Sam was for sale, my dad met with the owner and bought him for me..

Cowboy's very first band performance was a success. I have sat through previous first band performances of my other children, where they struggled through several Christmas pieces. Little Cowboy's group only played two pieces that they actually played correctly. It was wonderful. Either they have a great instructor or they have extra talent. I think it is both. LOL.

we're having a freeze tonight so i rode peach and got everyone in their blankets. it's pretty wet from the rain storm last night so i put them in stalls and the covered arena so if they want to lay down it will be dry. hope no pipes break! sometimes even when i wrap them they do. :/
