Sorry I haven’t been on as much as planned. I have been super busy with school and training Mac. This spring we will be competing in 1st level dressage which is new to both of us and have been working super hard.

Well we got some winter weather. It started sleeting around 10:30 this morning and around 11:15 it turned over to snow and has been ever since. If I was home I'd hate cuz chores are hard to do in the snow. Since I'm here in the apartment I don't have much to do, so I'm kinda enjoying it. lol I was wanting to ask if ya'll could vote for Elva. I meant to get on this past weekend but I was pretty busy helping out with my family and celebrating Joy's birthday (even if it was a month late). Sorry, but I thought I'd get on today.
Last week I was able to go home for a visit and see the equines. It was great!! I spent hours out there with the horses and donkeys just soaking it all up. I even accidently fell asleep in the haybale. I woke up from my nap surrounded by Ransom and Angela who were hungry and eating. Elva was laying down by the haybale and a lil ways off Sug was laying down to.
I saw a bunch of geese flying north. Hopefully, spring will be here soon. It is getting a lil bit warmer; so that is nice. Our spring flowers are getting ready to bloom. Are there any signs that spring is coming to ya'll?

Hey!!I'm sorry it has been so long since I got on here. A bunch of stuff has happened and I'll try to get ya'll up-to-date.
First of all, Joy is doing very good.She had her bone marrow transplant on the 18th of January and she is now at the apartment.We are all at the apartment cuz Joy has to be so close to the hospital after her transplant and our home is to far away.:( Joy is doing very well being a big sister.She has a few problems sharing Mom, but otherwise she is doing good.
Providence Hope was born last Tuesday and is healthy as can be.She looks quite a bit like Joy which is scary. lol She is starting to show a small interest in the rest of her family besides Mom,Dad,and Joy.
Noah and Hannah are doing good.Half of the time they are ready to kill each other and the other half they are just playing together all sweet like.Who knows.lol
Sugar is doing good.She is such a sweetheart.Finally, living up to her name.She was happy to see me when I came home on Monday even though I had been gone for only two days.Sure hope she is like that when we move home in May!!
Angela had beening loving up on me more.She'd let me rub,pat,and scratch all over her before we left.When I get home I'm gonna working on teaching her how to lead cuz a donkey has some stubborness issues.
Lil Elva is getting bigger and I'm gonna try and working on halter breaking her when I get home.She is so cute!!She'll sass Ransom around and it is funny cuz she is so small and he's the biggest one there.
Ransom is doing good.I saved him for last cuz he has really changed.Ransom was kinda aloof.I'd pet on him and he'd just stand there looking around and would hardly ever nuzzle me like the others did.Then about two weeks ago I decided to brush cuz I needed to clear my mind from everything.Ever since I brushed him,he has been more affectionate.He'll walk up to me and nibble,lick,nuzzle,and just breathe on me.It is so cool!!When I came home after being at the apartment for two days.Ransom came to see me.After I had seen him for a lil bit the girls came to see me.Ransom then started nipping and kinda chasing after them like he wanted me all to himself.Who knows...it was nice being loved on though.When I get home I'm just gonna work on building our relationship with Ransom and then ride him some.
I'm doing ok.This time around with everything going on with Joy has been hard.I've always heard people say that horses are the best therapists, but now I know for sure that they are.Without them I would probably be doing bad.I don't have many friends, but I definetly count my horses and donkeys as my best friends.

I want to wish all my very special friends here on HC a Merry CHRISTmas! Travel safely and enjoy your family and friends.
I haven’t had much horsey time but of course our horses live with us so I see them every day! Morning feedings & evening feedings are my quality time on the days that I cannot spend much time with them. I can look out my window when I’m home and see their beautiful images too at any time…I feel so blessed to have them in my care and I thank the lord every day that I have been chosen to be their care taker ♥ ♥ ♥

Happy Caturday to you!!
Thank the Heavens above we got rain finally after 10 weeks!!!!
My friend Gail came over yesterday afternoon and we rode for several hours. We had a wonderful ride. We got sprinkled on about 3 or 4 times but we knew that would happen before we even started. The bigger rain was not expected until after 5 pm so we knew it wouldn’t last long. Gail’s horse is pretty young (4) but they did great together! We WTC all over the fields and just had a blast. Deacon is my Cadillac! He is so smooth! So easy to ride…..

We had such a good ride Saturday! Left at 8:30 am and didn’t get home until 5:30 pm or so ! Here is a list of the 5 pictures at the bottom of Whiskey’s page:
1. Whiskey & Rocket (random area)
2. Colt (my nick name for Coleton) & Rocket at Pretty tank (I didn’t get the tank in the pic though!)
3. Colt on Rocket at Stephen’s tub
4. Rocket, Bill ~his horse JD~ and Whiskey’s nose (large open field)
5. Pretty tank where the longhorn kept getting closer to Whiskey and I (very curious animal!!)
I have a few more I need to send from my phone to my email so I can post later!
Cold weather finally made it our way. Winds at 22 mph and 33 degrees when I left for work this morning. Will be 22 degrees in the morning-WOW will have to blanket the horses this evening because the wind will be stay high and our boys haven’t had a chance to really grow a winter coat!

They have been good so far! I can not wit until Christmas we just put up our tree and I am waiting for the cookie dough to be cooled then cut them then bake them and then ice them and eat them!LOL!

i had a ride on buttercup tonight after work. she worked better over the poles, though she still wants to charge. also really difficult to keep at a walk in between exercises. she moves into trot rather than walk nicely. it's tiring. she's very powerful. really easy to control as far as direction and stopping at least. Hi Cinnamon Bun, here's a vote for ya. So like you went hunting, killed a deer and then named her! Okay! What a day, temps hit a high of 61 degrees, lovin' it! Rode Paige, she was in the Roberts corrector bit and was awesome. She's holding herself up so much better now all on her own, lose rein and no leg at all, she's really learning to hold it together! Indy and I played again in the indoor. I hope to ride tomorrow but I have to take my truck in, something wrong with the brakes and steering, could be a vacumn pump on the firewall went bad! Hi guys good news I got a deer Last Thursday I named her"Emily". Cookie Cinnamon got into the hay yesterday! but in other news my cat spazz has not been home for a week :*( so hope he comes back!But I posted pics of my deer on cinnamon's page! My goal for Cinnamon is to have 200 votes by the new year and Cookie's 100 by the new year!And also HOTD some time then cinnamon once she hits 300 votes or 600 she will run for HOTM!

Congratulations, Logan, on Dec. HOTM! I was able to work with my sore foot. Thankful. When I got home, I took Sadie a carrot, apple and lettuce salad, gave her a hug and told her she's my sexy girl. I could tell her anything as long as there's food involved. Going to get a good pair of boots for my birthday in January, if I have to buy them myself. Hi Cinnamon bun, here's a vote for ya. Well, we got our snow! About 4 to 5 inches all total. And I woke up with a little bit of a runny nose. So I didn't do anything with the horse's today at all. Felt better this afternoon, but not that great. I think standing around all day Sat in the ice cold indoor with the wind and those people, someone there did say they had a bad cold and kept coming over and talking with me. Like hey, keep you're germs and go away! LOL! So I just hung out by the wood burner after grocery shopping. Karen will be coming Wed and Fri this week to work with Paige and I. Leaving a vote. I'm gonna try to be getting on once every week or two. I hope that ya'll are doing good. How have you been? Have you been able to see the horse(s)? How is your weather?
We are all doing good. We enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving all together. We have got the house decorated all of Christmas. We have a fake Christmas tree cuz Joy can't have live plants in the house. We used to have real ones until last year. Joy is doing good. She is a handful.
The horses are doing very well. Ransom has finally made friends with the donkeys! He'll just stand beside them and even eats at the haybale with them. I even caught him licking Elva once! Sugar is doing better with the donkeys. She is just now getting friendly with them. I think their long ears kinda freak the horses out. lol
The donkeys are doing good to. Angela seems to enjoy the horses' company and she is even getting excited to see me. She now walks up to the fence or gate whenever I walk outside and watches my every move. I catch Elva hanging around Ransom quite a bit. She is very friendly too. Elva lets me pet on her and will follow me around.
Also I seem to be getting new horse loving followers. My little brother and sister have been messing with the horses and donkeys more. Hopefully, I'll be able to "corrupt" one (or both of them) to be horse lovers!! Hope all is well. Love Kelsey,the horses, and the donkeysCome visit me, ~Ransom~, ~Elva~, ~R.I.P. Hi Cinnamon Bun, here's a vote for ya. well, kinda was a waste of time going to the tack sale today! Only sold one thing, was there 4 hours and froze my toes off! It was so cold and windy, even though we were in the indoor, the main door was open and the wind of course coming from that direction! BURRRR!!!. So no riding or anything today. I am going out for shotgun next weekend so wish me luck! It's snowing here in Loudonville,OH! Cookie and cinnamon are doing great cookie loves watermelon! ALL of the goats bounce around and are happy with this cold weather :P.
