My Horse's Achievements: He does English, Western, Bareback, bitless, etc. He has done a lot!
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Hm, probably Apples and my home-made horse treats!
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: He loves to just sit and hang-out with me. He loves to eat and graze with his buddy.
Pet Peeves: He hates cold weather. When he cant see his buddy, Freckles, he gets upset. When I walk by him with-out saying "hi".
My Horse's motto: Either you're making the dust or you're eating it.

How We Met
Him and Freckles are at the barn I live near. I don't own him or Freckles yet, but when he's done being used in the lesson program I've been told I can buy them then. I can hardly wait!

HELLO! So my mom, Lena, has decided she want to run for HOTM, but, in order to do that she's going to need at least 600 votes! Now I think she misplaced them somewhere and I don't think we are smart enough to know where she put them. But by pressing a button at the top of my club horse account I'm pretty sure we'll be able to find them! Also if you do we'll return the favor! :)

Thanks for your support of Rocky's HOTD. It has been impossible for me to blog & vote this week since both my daughter has been moving into her apartment and we've been packing & cleaning all week, plus Comet is moving tomorrow to the new stable and I packed all his stuff into the trailer today! So, needless to say, I'm so tired out. Here is your Fancy wintery vote ♥
Friday in N Carolina was 60% and lovely. Today was in the 40's and snowing! The snow melted when it hit the ground It was pretty, but can you imagine 60 one day and snowing the next.
Fancy had to find something to put her feet in last night. This time it was the feed bucket that is bolted to the wall. I remember when she was a yearling, I was on my way out, and I looked to check on her, she was standing with both front feet in the feet bucket that is bolted on the wall. My husband had a field day with that one! I thought I would never hear the end of that.
Fancy puts her feet in the water, and I have to put her grain in a deep bucket to keep her feet out. She has done this every since I have had her.
Does any one know why a horse would have such a strong inclination to put it's feet into every thing? Does any of your horses do this?
Poor little Trigger stands there and looks at Fancy like perhaps he finds her amusing.
Since Fancy is in the stall Trigger sure does poop all over the place. I think Fancy made him poop in certain areas. Now Sir Poops a Lot is free to poop where ever he wants.

It's Caturday :)
Thank the Heavens above we got rain finally after 10 weeks!!!!
My friend Gail came over yesterday afternoon and we rode for several hours. We had a wonderful ride. We got sprinkled on about 3 or 4 times but we knew that would happen before we even started. The bigger rain was not expected until after 5 pm so we knew it wouldn’t last long. Gail’s horse is pretty young (4) but they did great together! We WTC all over the fields and just had a blast. Deacon is my Cadillac! He is so smooth! So easy to ride…..
Many prayers for the families that lost children and loved one’s yesterday at Sandy Hook Elementary…WOW I can’t believe these things happen…..Come visit me, ♥ Whiskey ♥ & ♥ Deacon ♥.

Looks like the rest of the week will be fast and furious! I was going to try and ride Friday but its calling for rain. We are so dry here so it will be welcomed! It has been over 2 months for our last tiny rain. The wind finally died down by the time we got home from work yesterday so the horses felt better! Sure was cold this morning. Yesterday I went over to my aunts place and rode Misty for a while. When I got back Ethan and I took Dakota and Scout for a ride down the gravel road that goes past our place. Scout acted like he had been there a million times already when really this was just the 3rd ride he has had since last year and the first time he has ever been down the road. His lope is incredibly smooth, I feel like I could lope him for hours! Unfortunately though I ussually only lope him for a little while at a time because he's not used to doing very much work and also because he is so old. So far about the only thing he isn't good at is being tied up, he goes nuts when he has to be away from Dakota for 2 seconds! Dont know what he's going to do if I decide to take Dakota on a ride without him.
We had a bunch of snow last night and we are supposed to have some more tonight so I don't think I will be riding today. I finally had a day off Monday. Haven't been able to ride in a couple of weeks. I twisted my left foot a week ago last Friday. It's still sore and swollen. No complaints from Sadie, especially since she's been enjoying the bag of apples I bought for her. Thanks for all of the votes for Sadie. Hugs and a vote in return. Hé is beautiful! Here is vote 30 for a honorable *H*O*T*D*! I rode my mare Angel Petite Fleur bit less and she was doing so well, then developed cancer suddenly. Sounds like Copper is versatile and sweet! My fist horse as a young girl was a sorrel (like copper color) with blonde mane and tail. Thought of her when I saw your handsome guy's photo.
