How We Met
I first met her at Equine Affaire and then a coupe weeks later my trainer met her an event that was held at her farm. We went up to see her and I feel in love with her. I later realized that she was the same horse that I loved at EA. She has been my best friend ever since and she has taught me so much.

Welcome to HC ♥
♥ I can’t seem to find the picture I wanted to post of Whiskey bowing?!?! I may have deleted it from my phone thinking I had saved it to my computer…I will leave this one up and change it before I leave work Sunday afternoon. I will be on vacation for 2 weeks and I want a picture of whiskeys whole body for the new comers dropping by!
I rode Whiskey in Deacon’s bridle yesterday. I have used an “O” ring snaffle for nearly 2 years on him. He did very well with the short shank curb on! When I first got Whiskey he was so hard in the mouth. I tried various bits on him and finally said “I need to go back to the basics with him” so that is how this all came about!

Horse joke of the Day!
Thank you your horse it absolutly gorgeous too.Sorry i havent been on in a while i was unhappy not being on here with my best horse friends for life (bhffl) I had a project and i had to read so i chose to read Secretariat's Meadow its so good and i also had tons of homework ugh. I am happy to be back though.
Religious Cowboy
The devout cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range.
Three weeks later, a horse walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth.
The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes.
He took the precious book out of the horse's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!"
"Not really," said the horse. "Your name is written inside the cover."

When the Umayyad Muslims invaded the Iberian peninsula in 711 AD, their invasion brought Barb horses, which were crossed with native Iberian horses. The cross between these two breeds produced a war horse superior even to the original Iberian horse, and it was this new type that the Conquistadors introduced to the Americas. Called the Iberian war horse, this ancestor of the Lusitano was used both on the battlefield and in major riding academies throughout Europe. Bullfighting on horseback and displays of high school dressage were common entertainment for the Portuguese gentry.

Your horse is gorgeous, I've always wanted a Friesian :) Thank you for complimenting my horse! I love the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus, and was especially fond of Thalia(in the books), since her last name was Grace (my first name). So, I named my horse after Thalia Grace. :D
