Here's a vote from Buddy! I got my internet and tv back! Finally I can make it back on here hopefully every day! Good news, the move went well, and I'm planning on going to a horse event on the 27th. I'll get to see my aunty and one of the girls who takes pictures of Buddy for me, plus I'll get to see my two cousins I haven't seen in about 4-5 years! Still working on the job front, there's lots of stables around here so I'd like to maybe find work at one of them. It's supposed to snow as well this weekend again :( Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I am so happy to be able to blog and vote! Saturday I got my job list caught up and the brace is helping with the swelling, pain, & numbness. I have missed interacting with you all. I will blog and vote often as I can depending on my physical situation.
Saturday afternoon we went to the farm to take pics of my brothers and their friend as they rode out. I rode Buttercup in the field, well, my brother lead me on her. When he got her she did not like anyone. Now, she knows who he is and she only wants to listen to him! I could not ride her without him leading her. I did not want to get into a tussle with her either because my wrist are weak. I did enjoy the short ride in the field though!!!
Fancy's wound continues to improve. I was afraid to let her get her kicks out, but I let her out for a while Friday. She ran! Bucked, kicked, & ran more! There was NO limping, no swelling, no bleeding. I did put some bell boots on her before I let her out. Does any one know if it is ok to allow her to wear bell boots all day or night? I took them off when I put her back in the stall. The bell boots covers that wound so I think they will help if I leave her out. I don't know anything about bell boots because I have never used them.
If you saw our last video, don't worry, Fancy was not in any danger. Fancy has been goin up them stairs since she was 10 months old. When we go there more often she walks up them better than I do. They are in the park and there is grass on both sides. I never let her walk down. I think the pool noodle getting under her leg made her feel funny because the first time she was unsure. After I

When Austin got home from school Monday, I asked how his day went. He replied somber. Said he wouldn't be needing the extra lunch he took to school everyday. His friend, Eric, who he shared with, committed suicide last Monday during spring break. I didn't know Eric, but felt I did through Austin. We're both having a hard time dealing with it. Austin more than me, of course. He said Eric was talented, funny and had a lot of potential. Heartbreaking. Saying a prayer for his family and all who've been hurt by this. Leaving a hug and a vote. Sadie's doing good. Scruffy keeps her company, whether she wants him to or not. Since he's the only dog, and she's the only horse, he's bonded with her. He likes to sleep on her hay close to the corral. I don't think the feelings are mutual. He seems to get on her nerves when he barks for her to chase him. Busy night at work. Love and a tired vote. Had a nice afternoon. I let Sadie out of her corral to enjoy another afternoon of freedom. Austin and Rick decided to play toss with a Nerf football. Rick tossed it to Sadie. She didn't care for that anymore than she did for the Frisbee, so she ran to her hay. She's just not into sports. Love to you all. Hugs and a vote. Getting Sadie's hooves done in a couple of weeks. Can't believe how fast they've grown out. Had a fun horsey day. Austin tried to get her to play Frisbee with him. Scruffy loves Frisbee, but most dogs do. Sadie, not at all. Don't expect her to enjoy anything that's tossed at her, unless it's food. She got a good workout from all the running. Here's a vote from Fancy & Trigger.
Have you ever heard of Underwoods Horse medicine or ever used it? I was going to get a picture of Fancy's wound, but it just has a scab on it. She is not showing any signs of lameness. I know Fancy will run, kick, & buck up a storm so I leave her in the stall to keep her from aggravating that wound before the new flesh grows in.

Had Sadie out of the corral, so she could enjoy some freedom and get some exercise. Scruffy was fussing at her about his dog food. She went for it, and he stopped her. I tried to help her to understand that a large black trash bag won't hurt her. I held it out to her, she checked it out and, then, hauled butt like it snapped at her. Austin tried to get her to play frisbee. That didn't go over well. She didn't like it, of course. She did love the attention. Need to ride. Hugs and a vote.
