Famous Racehorse Heres a vote for you too you have a beautiful standardbred. Phar Lap The monstrous New Zealand-bred Phar Lap (“lightning” in Thai) raced mainly in Australia, winning 37 times in 51 races and setting 8 track records. Phar Lap was a staggering 17.1 hands and his heart weighed 13.7 lbs, compared to the average weight of 9 lbs. Phar Lap was invited to the $50 000 Agua Caliente Handicap in Mexico. Racing on dirt for the first time against some of America’s best horses, Phar Lap set a new record winning time. Phar Lap died suddenly after becoming ill. A plot to kill him was suspected, but never proven. Have a fantastic Friday and heres a vote for your TGIF!!Come visit me, Twilight.

History on the Gorgeous Akhal-Teke *please read very interesting sorry its long The Akhal-Teke evolved about three thousand years ago in southern Turkmenistan where they are the national emblem. They are named after the nomadic tribe that bred them and are found mostly in Turkmenistan and Russia. These beautiful horses adapt to severe, climatic conditions and remain to be one of the oldest and purest breed of horse still living today. They are thought to be the predecessors of the Arabian and English thoroughbred breeds. Due to their endless stamina and the ability to withstand great extremes of temperature they were originally bred as war mounts and later for racing. Today the Akhal-Teke is used in all competitive equine sports including endurance, dressage, jumping, and eventing. The blood of the Akhal-Teke horse carries an ancient Oriental legacy laced with the endurance born of centuries of survival in the unforgiving Turkmenian deserts.Hi i am Twilight i am running for HOTM and i need some votes but if you are new to the HC or you need help with something come and ask me i will help you as much as i can.Thank you for reading and heres a vote for you have a great day!Come visit me, Twilight.
