My Horse's Achievements: We did the Antelope Island Buffalo Roundup together, she had given me (and still gives me) all the experience, love and patience a first time owner needs, and she gave me my first blue ribbons! :)
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Apples, peppermint treats, and her senior grain!
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: EAT!, Prance around the field, race, run, and get attention.
Pet Peeves: Not getting fed on time, when people don't give her 100% of their attention.

How We Met
When I was 12 my riding instructor bought her first horse in America and I got the privledge to ride her. That summer we did 4H together. We had so much fun and those were the first compeitions I've ever done. Then after that I lost contact with my instructor. Several years later my instuctor called me and wanted to know if I wanted to lease Saphira. Of course I said yes!!! That was 2 years ago and I've felt very blessed to have a horse like Saphira. I now own her completely..

I'd like to congratulate Twilight on winning HOTM. Not much is going on today. I had my school to do. Lovely. I'm getting excited cuz in two weeks I'll be home for a visit and I'll be able to see the horses and donkeys!! How has your first day of March been?
So my story about Sugar and I starts nine and a half years ago. I always wished to have a have a horse of my own. My grandpa promised to get me a horse when my parents were done building the house (that we now live in). Well on in the middle of August my mom and grandma came home after a day of being out and shopping. They had went to see a pony and they showed me the pictures of her. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I'll have more tomorrow.

Mustangs
The Mustang has been alive and free for many, many years. He has shaped our country. If the Mustang did not exist we might not be here, we might have a different country, for we could be slaves, or we could not have the animals we love – horses. If you really think about it the Mustang got many people to come to America, the Mustang shaped our Quarter Horse history, the Mustang fought in the war for our independence, the Mustang is also a very important horse in the competition world of horses. Mustangs have become known as smart and quick learners because of their lack of human contact. Mustangs learn quickly because once you get Mustangs to trust you enforcedly they trust you and expect you to not harm them.
But you know what people are harming the Mustangs by chasing them down with airplanes and running them until they cannot move and die in their own tracks. The Mustangs are then put in a corral and are dripping wet with sweat in the 100 degree sun. They are given no water. Then the Mustangs are sorted by which ones will be cow ponies, buckaroos, or even worse – dog food.
For one why would you want to feed a dog horse meat, especially horses that were ran and ran until they could run no more. And second the mustangs are in pain and are screaming to get free but they are not able too. Now hear me out on this, would you like it if you were ran for miles and miles for hours with no water in the burning hot sun? And to be trapped in a corral dripping wet with sweat? Then to be separated from your family and never see them again or even worse because the reason you cannot see them again is because they were killed for stupid things like food? Shouldn’t beef and pork be food for animals? They have had vaccines and the Mustangs don’t, for they could be sick and your dog or cat could be killed from unknown diseases.
The Mustangs have not only been a sign for our liberty but they have helped us become free so we should help them become free as our repay to the Mustangs. And also many people enjoy seeing the Mustangs running free and now the only thing they see is lonely mountains and deserts not only because the Mustangs are disappearing because of the cruel roundups but because they are in hiding from the humans their most feared enemy today.

You have a pretty horse!!
We got some more snow today,but no accumulation so it didn't last long. It is suppose to be like that for the next few days. I had a Writing&Grammer test today and I got a 95% which is an A!! Also yesterday I turned in my writing assignment and I got a B on it!! That is really good cuz my writing assignments haven't been the best lately. Joey is very happy that you gave him a vote. And it was really hard to get him to do that. He is a free style jumper! it took 2 years to train him the hand movements and speeds he is soposed to learn, but it is all paid off now that he is GREAT!Come visit me, Miss Lil Texas, Joey, Sasha & ***HELP*** my horse needs a new name!!!.
