How We Met

He was a lesson horse at a barn I use to ride at. He was a horse that if he didn't want to do something you had to make him. He passed away on February 14 2011. I had missed my lesson that Saturday due to being sick and passed on Monday. I was upset about to being able to see him one last time and it was really hard going back to the barn. He coliced and had twisted his intestines up so they had to put him down. He was really good horse even when he acted up. I will always love you Prince and I know that you don't hurt anymore and that you're up in horse heaven with Abby..

in Heaven on your second anniversary in Horse Heaven. Petite Fleur left me when she was 13.5 years with ovarian cancer. She passed close to Christmas 2010 which took the joy out of life for awhile.

The History on the Gypsy Beauties
The earliest records of multi-colored horses (such as the gypsy horse) are from cave drawings estimated to be approximately 20,000 years old. In past times, such multi-colored horses were believed to be omens of good fortune.
The association of the Rom with horses is almost legendary. By tradition, the gypsy horse is involved in each and every aspect of family life...faithfully pulling the vardo by day, yet sufficiently amenable and patient to be the gentle mount of gypsy children when the day is done. Often staked out alongside the road with the family wagon in all types of weather when not "on the move," the gypsy horse lives and thrives for the most part by partaking of the grasses which happen to be growing where it is tethered. The heartiness and exceptional disposition of the gypsy horse is its trademark and such an animal is generally considered to be cold-blooded, incredibly adaptable from the moment of birth.Hi am Twilight and thank you for reading please vote for me for March HOTM ,heres a vote for you too

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, “Deck the Stalls!”:
Q: Why was Santa's little helper depressed?
A: Because he had low elf esteem.

Little Cowboy Class/ Word of the day: ATHLETIC =  runaway horse

The first few times Cowboy rode Trigger, Trigger acted like the only thing he knew was to go forward. Cowboy became frustrated a few times. He said Trigger was not very smart and that he wanted my Fancy because she would go and she knew how to do things. I encouraged him to keep working and be patient. Also had to remind my little Cowboy, Fancy did not always know these things. She learned them by practicing and patience. And that Trigger could do the same. A few weeks went by and Trigger was walking across the boards, backing, and doing other things that Cowboy would ask. And you should have seen the look of accomplishment on Cowboy's face!

If you haven't had time to check the Calendar of Agendas Page #232390, the HOTD runner for today is:
★ Chet 245546 ★
PLEASE vote HOTD :^)
