Congrats on getting HOTD!! She is such a pretty girl!
We got some more snow today,but no accumulation so it didn't last long. It is suppose to be like that for the next few days. I had a Writing&Grammer test today and I got a 95% which is an A!! Also yesterday I turned in my writing assignment and I got a B on it!! That is really good cuz my writing assignments haven't been the best lately. The Mustang has been alive and free for many, many years. He has shaped our country. If the Mustang did not exist we might not be here, we might have a different country, for we could be slaves, or we could not have the animals we love – horses. If you really think about it the Mustang got many people to come to America, the Mustang shaped our Quarter Horse history, the Mustang fought in the war for our independence, the Mustang is also a very important horse in the competition world of horses. Mustangs have become known as smart and quick learners because of their lack of human contact. Mustangs learn quickly because once you get Mustangs to trust you enforcedly they trust you and expect you to not harm them.
But you know what people are harming the Mustangs by chasing them down with airplanes and running them until they cannot move and die in their own tracks. The Mustangs are then put in a corral and are dripping wet with sweat in the 100 degree sun. They are given no water. Then the Mustangs are sorted by which ones will be cow ponies, buckaroos, or even worse – dog food.
For one why would you want to feed a dog horse meat, especially horses that were ran and ran until they could run no more. And second the mustangs are in pain and are screaming to get free but they are not able too. Now hear me out on this, would you like it if you were ran for miles and miles for hours with no water in the burning hot sun? And to be trapped in a corral dripping wet with sweat? Then to be separated from your family and never see them again or even worse because the reason you cannot see them again is because they were killed for stupid things like food? Shouldn’t beef and pork be food for animals? They have had vaccines and the Mustangs don’t, for they could be sick and your dog or cat could be killed from unknown diseases.
The Mustangs have not only been a sign for our liberty but they have helped us become free so we should help them become free as our repay to the Mustangs. And also many people enjoy seeing the Mustangs running free and now the only thing they see is lonely mountains and deserts not only because the Mustangs are disappearing because of the cruel roundups but because they are in hiding from the humans their most feared enemy today..

Sorry you did not win HOTD> We can try again!
Today is the last day for the next week that I will be able to leave normal daily blogs and votes for a few days. My oldest son is visiting from Kabul. We pick him up at the airport Sunday!!! Today is his 31st birthday! We will be out cramming all we can into a few days. I will not have much computer time. Here is your Fancy wintery vote ♥
Friday in N Carolina was 60% and lovely. Today was in the 40's and snowing! The snow melted when it hit the ground It was pretty, but can you imagine 60 one day and snowing the next.
Fancy had to find something to put her feet in last night. This time it was the feed bucket that is bolted to the wall. I remember when she was a yearling, I was on my way out, and I looked to check on her, she was standing with both front feet in the feet bucket that is bolted on the wall. My husband had a field day with that one! I thought I would never hear the end of that.
Fancy puts her feet in the water, and I have to put her grain in a deep bucket to keep her feet out. She has done this every since I have had her.
Does any one know why a horse would have such a strong inclination to put it's feet into every thing? Does any of your horses do this?
Poor little Trigger stands there and looks at Fancy like perhaps he finds her amusing.
Since Fancy is in the stall Trigger sure does poop all over the place. I think Fancy made him poop in certain areas. Now Sir Poops a Lot is free to poop where ever he wants.
