Hi jack...I saw your blog on Fancy's page about horse of the week. HI! Our herd is dashing by with a good night vote. When I finish leaving my blogs and votes I will read the blogs on my pages. How are you tonight? I am tired and ready for rest, playing catch up is hard when you get old. LOL! But at least I am better now! And happy for it!
I caught up on half of my work load. Then I went outside to clean up.
Cleaning up after Fancy and Trigger was not hard as I expected. Was I glad for that! I have an old tire that I used in the past to teach Fancy to pull using the saddle horn. I put that in her corral, just in case she wanted something different to play with. It wasn't long before Fancy had the rope in her mouth and she was swinging the tire back in forth in front of her. It was very funny to see. But I did wonder if it was safe. Do you think there is any harm of her breaking her teeth by doing that? It is a small tire, but a little larger than a wheel barrow tire.
Trigger never plays with anything, or at least we never see him play with anything. He just stands around or eats. He is soo quiet. Trigger and Fancy are the total oppisite. She will run crazy and gets angry if Trigger does not run too. Once in a blue moon Trigger will run with her, but that only last one go around and he is done. LOL.

Saturday all I wanted to do was go out and ride Fancy. A good thing I was in my right mind and did not try it, I am sure I would have bit the dust several times due to being so weak. LOL. I am so glad to feel better, my mind is running over with thoughts of riding. I guess you feel that way if you are cooped up in the house too long. Now, I am so ready for sunny spring days.

I rode Dakota to my aunts yesterday, of course he got all excited as usual. I ponied Sierra off of him for a while then turned them loose to run and play together. They started galloping and bucking around the pasture and even Misty joined in. Of course I did not have my camera. Once they were done playing I caught Sierra and lunged her a bit with the saddle. Then re saddled Dakota and galloped all the way home, he has sooo much energy.

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, Happy Birthday Joyce!!!!
Here is a vote from Fancy and Trigger. It sure is hard to get a lot done when it gets dark soo early. Cowboy and I rode for a while after church. I did not clean up since I knew my time was limited. We had so much fun. I will clean up Monday and we hope to ride again. Fancy was a bit high strung, but she was listening. After our ride, we practiced our showmanship lessons. Fancy has not forgetten her lessons, but she was slow. Which I expected since it was before Christmas since we worked on them. Trigger was on his best behavior. I can't believe how calm he is for an Arabian. I have never seen an Arabian with his quietness and willingness.
