✞ I want to wish all you mom’s out there (human and horse) a wonderful Mother’s day! I am off this weekend so I will be phone voting and you know I don’t type much from my phone! I may haul out Saturday to ride Lake Whitney but I would be riding by myself ~ that actually sounds good to me….I will have horse time but will be BBQ’ing Sunday and watching the horses and chilling (it has rained 2 days so I can’t ride the property around the house). I spoke with the nurse this morning, I am not supposed to be putting any stress on my wrist yet. I thought after the 3rd day I could begin to do things. Our first horse show is this Saturday! Fancy won’t be going. If we can get Trigger cleaned up, we can take him. I wish I could get Fancy ready, but I don’t have anyone to help get her cleaned up really nicely.

HI!!! Here is a Happy Easter vote for you!
I am so happy to be able to blog and vote! Saturday I got my job list caught up and the brace is helping with the swelling, pain, & numbness. I have missed interacting with you all. I will blog and vote often as I can depending on my physical situation.
Saturday afternoon we went to the farm to take pics of my brothers and their friend as they rode out. I rode Buttercup in the field, well, my brother lead me on her. When he got her she did not like anyone. Now, she knows who he is and she only wants to listen to him! I could not ride her without him leading her. I did not want to get into a tussle with her either because my wrist are weak. I did enjoy the short ride in the field though!!!
Fancy's wound continues to improve. I was afraid to let her get her kicks out, but I let her out for a while Friday. She ran! Bucked, kicked, & ran more! There was NO limping, no swelling, no bleeding. I did put some bell boots on her before I let her out. Does any one know if it is ok to allow her to wear bell boots all day or night? I took them off when I put her back in the stall. The bell boots covers that wound so I think they will help if I leave her out. I don't know anything about bell boots because I have never used them.
If you saw our last video, don't worry, Fancy was not in any danger. Fancy has been goin up them stairs since she was 10 months old. When we go there more often she walks up them better than I do. They are in the park and there is grass on both sides. I never let her walk down. I think the pool noodle getting under her leg made her feel funny because the first time she was unsure. After I
