✞ Deacon is such a sweet gentle soul, he loves kids. When a child is around he lowers his head down with VERY soft eyes and it almost seems as if he tries to make his body small ~it is such a sight to see. Some of you will gasp at this but I don’t lunge Deacon before riding, never have. He has always been such a gentleman. I do lunge him sometimes if I don’t have time to ride and it’s just to have time with him. I sure do hope your weather is better than it has been here. The winds have been terrible 20-30 mph and cold! Happy trails to you and here is a whinny and a click on your horseshoe with love =) Come visit me, ♥ Deacon ♥.

(}—{) We ended up getting a light sprinkle Thursday evening. After I went to Tractor Supply & the grocery store Lizzy came over and we had a really nice ride on Rocket and Deacon. Whiskey is at the equine hospital staying a few days. He scratched his eye somehow. I really don’t know how or why he does that so much but the other 2 never do???? Any way Doc says he is doctoring it 2x’s a day with an antibiotic and giving banamine 1 time a day. Cliff may pick him up today or Monday. It is so hard putting meds in their eyes. I can do once its under control. I just can’t stand to touch his eye when it hurts so much. He took him in Thursday Morning so hopefully he can come home today. I miss him and so does Deacon and Rocket. Whinny’s, love, hugs and we left you a vote….. Come visit me, ♥ Deacon ♥.

Hi!!!
Hi this is Bart and Lauryn! I haven't been on horse channel in over 6 months, I've been so busy!!! Yesterday i took my senior pictures with Bart. He threw me off, but other than that it was awesome! The photographer got lots of good pictures!!! He got spooked at the reflector thing they had to shine on my face. Bart didn't mind it being in his face, but he saw it on the ground and spooked and threw me off. haha. But we all know we can't stay mad at our horses:) Left you all votes!!Come visit me, Lead the Way.

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS:
Here is a good night vote for you.
I have had a lot of people interested in Trigger this week. I have not been in the house much. That is why I have not been on the computer.
The events of 8/12/2014:
A kind lady adopted Trigger to help out at her children's riding facility. I am happy and sad at the same time. She led him to her trailer and he tried to get back to me. I felt so bad. I felt like I was betraying him. She led him to the trailer and he looked in and then looked back for me. Wow. He has never paid me any attention. He only loved after my little Cowboy till now. I felt so bad. I told her just ask him to go on, he will. He always tries to do what you ask him. She kindly asked him and he went. She tied him up and the stallion divider was closed. Trigger watched out of the side vents and neighed back to us as I watched him disappear. I turned to go back into the yard and I had to stop and try not to cry. But I cried anyway. I will miss that little guy. The best horse I have ever been around. Well, now he has the chance to help some wonderful children learn to love. I am happy, and still sad.
It has been a hectic week for us.
I have two people interested in Fatima. Hopefully someone will want to adopt her and work with her.
I believe I will be freed up by Thursday and be back online.

I spent some time with Fancy this morning. She does have a sweet attitude. We didn't do any thing. We just spent a little time being together in the yard.

Hi Bubba, here's a vote for ya. Sounds like a lot of fun working at the show. Glad that you did your qualifying chores and now will be up for year end prizes. Well what a night last night! Darn Butt Head neighbor across the street decided to shoot off airel fireworks at 9:30. Mind you, only about 400 feet from my barn, kids weren't happy and neither was I! It was one right after the other with a big ending performance! When I cool down, should be in a week or so, I'll have a talk with them about that, it's illegal to do fireworks in our State! Then this morning I was to take Paige to our trainer Marissa for a tune up. No one to help load her in my smaller goose neck straight load. So have to do it tomorrow, Marissa will come up and close the butt bar while I get her head tied up front. But I did get a ride in at home, she was really good. Then they all got out for a couple of hours today, fly sheets on and bug juice and they enjoyed the sunshine and grass. Love ya, Marion and the blondes. Come visit me, Nuttin But Good. congrats at the show, good job...
Good Morning all, I managed to get thru the first week after vacation. The weather was just stupid this week, cold mornings, warm afternoons, HOT late afternoons and 3 days of showers in the late afternoon. I said before this full time job is gettin' in my way of fun time. No ride this week, and had to be careful of the rich grass because of the humid and wet conditions. We will have a ride this morning before it gets hot. Then maybe run the vacuum over and sit is the sun with a book, eh, sounds good to me. David made some dressage letters for my riding ring, I added a couple of pics, Love that man...
