How We Met
I was just checking the internet, on Horseclicks. com, to see new horses for sale (not seriously looking for another horse). I saw her picture and knew I had to have her, no matter what. I told my parents and they looked into her. She had been abused and had big open wounds on her sides where she had been beaten. She didn't trust anyone, she turned her head when I even looked at her stall. Its taken two years with my baby, but she trusts me, and she learned to be herself without being punished for it. She is in full health and I fall in love with her more and more every sngle day..

Went out to check on Sadie when I got home from work last night. She'd torn her fly mask off. It lasted 10 days. Hope to someday move away from the egg ranch. The flies are horrible. Big hi to all. Jessica came out Wednesday with her boyfriend, David. Sadie was bad. While Jessica picked her hooves, Sadie yanked her back hoof away. She bucked a couple of times, too, when Jessica rode her. She did okay with me. The strap on the saddle pinched a bruise on the inside of my left knee. Shouldn't have worn shorts. Found the missing fly mask, too. Jessica and I dumped Sadie's water trough to clean it out, and there it was. It had sunk to the bottom of the trough. I didn't think to check there. Hi Care-Bear!!!
♡ a click on your horseshoe FROM A REGULAR COMPUTER NOT MY PHONE!! Our weather was a little strange this weekend. It was cloudy and rained (lightly) most of Saturday morning. By the afternoon it cleared and was sunny, but it was like that Sunday morning but no rain just fog and then cleared. We went Friday after work to Lake Whitney to visit some friends we ride with. They were camping because he is to have surgery this week and didn’t know when they would get back out. Had a nice visit. My horsey time was spent at home and out in the property around us. Yep-had to break out the fly spray, not any around the face these are the biting ones that get their legs---I hate them!!!! #3 turn out has all “t” post in (27), now we need to put up the wire and add the gates. Saturday vote 4 U! Do enjoy this great weekend :)
We went to the horse show, but we did not take Fancy nor Trigger because I could not clean them up. I helped out in the arena giving out ribbons. That was as much fun as showing. I really learned a lot helping in the arena. I am so excited and hyped up to show!
My darling Fancy Walk N’s heel bulb is all healed up! I just hope she can stay out of trouble now!!!

♡ whinny’s & a click on your horseshoe! I am off work this weekend so I do intend to spend some much needed horse time. I plan to ride after work today and then haul out and ride Saturday. I will ride Sunday around my home area if it doesn’t rain and get things to wet. We will be adding the last 30 “t” post on number 3 turnout as well! Once that is done we can let them graze it and give #1 & #2 turn out a rest. Grass is growing pretty good but not so much that weeds could grow thank goodness! We will have our brush hog delivered next weekend so when stuff gets to grown or to many weeds we can jump on the tractor and take care of it! Here is a fabulous Friday vote, have a great weekend :)
I spoke with the nurse this morning, I am not supposed to be putting any stress on my wrist yet. I thought after the 3rd day I could begin to do things. Our first horse show is this Saturday! Fancy won’t be going. If we can get Trigger cleaned up, we can take him. I wish I could get Fancy ready, but I don’t have anyone to help get her cleaned up really nicely.

good morning everyone,
sorry i've been so MIA lately, just been busy with school work, seems like everyone is quite busy so far this season haha i can't believe i only have 27 days left of my junior year in high school! i can't wait to be a senior next year :D anyways, not much is new here, i haven't ridden since my show because i gave zig the day off after my show and then last sunday my trainer took zig on a competative trail ride (which they placed 2nd out of 38 people!!!) and then it's supposed to rain this sunday so i probably won't ride on sunday either :( but our school's prom is this saturday as well and afterprom is from 12am-4am sunday morning so i guess i'll just sleep for the rest of the day haha. i guess you could say it's a good thing that i won't be riding because i'll be soooo tired after the dance lol! i don't have a date tho :( maybe next year anyways here's a vote and i hope all is well

today i i had a runny nose and eye so i took a bendryl and went back to bed. had a 17 yr old come out to volunteer around the barn. she was very nice. hope she comes back. i normally don't answer emails from strangers but decided to meet her. she's not very experienced but learns quickly. had her fill water buckets, muck stalls and groom. i rode sing tonight while teaching a lesson. feeling pretty good tonight. Hi Caroline, here's a vote for ya. What a great day today. It was 34 when we got up, but it warmed up to 74 degrees and it was just so nice out. T-shirt weather. Had an awesome ride on Paige, she's finally back to normal after those darn spring shots. Then had some errands to run. Then got out the tractor with the york rake this time and really worked up the outdoor arena. Indy likes it out there better on these kind of days. So I'll work him up there. Then they were out for grass and play time, of course play time was all of 30 seconds, then it's like, don't waste time running, let's eat! LOL! ✞ Good Sunday morning. I have not ridden this week at all and I need to get on my horse and ride ~ maybe in the next couple of days. I did get to brush and groom some and I did get to worm each one of them! Other than that we have had feeding times together and I have sat back in my lawn chair and just watched them graze. That is very relaxing to me! Have a wonderful horsey day!

It snowed all day yesterday so I wasn't able to do anything with the horses. Today a lot of schools were cancelled because of all the snow. I rode Misty and ponied Sierra, they were both great. Hopefully I can ride Dakota or Cherokee tommorow. Left a vote, hope you have a wonderful weekend. Had a busy day, Wednesday. Jessica came out to ride Sadie. Afterward, I picked Austin up at school. He got his long hair cut for Locks of Love. We met friends at Cracker Barrel for dinner. I forgot and left my keys in the car. Had to call someone to get my car unlocked. Went shopping for Austin some clothes for his induction into the National Honor Society on Monday the 22nd. good morning everyone :)
we had a WONDERFUL time at the horse show on saturday!! Zig was stunning and i couldn't have asked for a better performance from him <3 he's my perfect little cow pony dressed up as a hunter equitation horse haha i love him so much! We placed a 4th and a 6th place in some of our hunter/english equitation classes and he was absolutely fantastic the entire time! my trainer even took him in some ranch riding classes which was neat to watch. i always love watching jess ride, after having her coach me all the time is so cool to see her climb up on zig and take him for a spin :) she's an amazing rider and i love her to death ahha she even got a 2nd and 3rd place in her classes and claimed reserve champion! im so proud of her as well! ziggy was so vocal then entire time at the show and he would try to be sneaky about it by tucking his nose in and making grunting squeal noises hahah he sounded just like a pig and the people on the rail just died laughing at him! he's silly. it was sooo windy but the weather was beautiful, i forgot sunscreen :( unfortunately and now my face is like a lobster and i have bad windburn as well uggg! but over all it was such a fun show! i uploaded photos on zig's page and added in some of my trainer on zig for their ranch class. i hope you all had a great weekend and here's a vote!

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, It’s Show Time!:
Dear Horse Owner:
Are you experiencing too many second and third finishes behind inferior horses at horse shows? During a trail ride, does your horse forget everything he was bred to do?
Well, this simple chain letter is meant to bring relief and happiness to you. Unlike most chain letters, it doesn't cost any money.
Simply send a copy to six other horse owners who are dissatisfied with the way that their horse is behaving. Also, bundle up your horse and send him/her to the horse owner at the top of list, and add your name to the bottom of the list. Do not use a return address or the post office may try to contact you.
In one week you should receive 16,436 horses, and at least one of them should be a keeper.
Have faith in this. Do not break the chain. One owner broke the chain and got his own horse back.
