VOTED, Hi! Fancy and Trigger here ")

Fancy loves her watermelon! I divided some watermelon between Fancy and Trigger. Fancy ate all of her treat. Trigger did not eat all of his. He left the rind in the dirt. First time I ever seen any horse leave any part of watermelon.
Finally enjoying days with more sun than rain. Sounds like most of us are enduring heat now. It is almost August and we are just now having HOT days. Maybe we wont have too many hot days.

We have certainly been busy. Family trips are fun but the long rides can be exhausting. Funny thing is, if I were going on a horsey related trip, I would be so excited, the exhaustion would feel good. LOL! I think today’s thunder showers helped me to feel rested once again. Fancy and Trigger are doing fine too.

One of our friends has seen how good natured Fancy is on our rides, and he mentioned to me that Fancy’s high strung behavior in the woods last week, could have been because she sensed something in the woods that I was not aware of. Lately we get a lot of creatures coming into the yard from the woods. There are rabbits, ground hogs, foxes, raccoons, etc. Maybe she did sense something. I do know she has never been that high strung on any of our rides. And maybe she just felt a bit hyper. I may never know.

Last week, Cowboy was sitting on Trigger, waiting on Fancy and I, when a butterfly flew by, grazing Cowboy’s cheek with it’s wing. As Cowboy was telling me how soft the butterfly’s wing was, I could hear the amazement in his voice. I told him he had been blessed that day. That was one of the sweetest kid moments ever. Even though I can never tell him that, because he is such a BIG boy now. You know, the pre-teen thing is going on “)

Cowboy & I have been horsen around the past 2 days.

Yesterday we rinsed Fancy & Trigger, hand grazed them while they dried then saddled up. We went into the woods. Fancy was hard wired to run. I had a time keeping her from running full speed. She would not listen to the snaffle bit. I thought if I came back a different trail she would slow down. Nope, she went up hill bucking all the way. I could tell by her half-hearted bucks, she was not trying to get rid of me, but she wanted me to let her run. I still said no. I took her home, traded that bit for her curb and went in the corral for a lesson. I stayed on her and I let her run her sillies out, right & left, back and forth. When she wanted to stop, I said not yet. While Cowboy & Trigger rode up and down the street and where ever they chose, Fancy had about 20 -30 minutes of class. After she got her sillies out, we worked on backing, forward, left & right movements. When we came out she was a willing and well behaved creature, which I appreciated very much.

Today we rinsed Fancy & Trigger early, waited on them to dry and saddled up. We rode across town to my mom’s house and back. One lady asked us to come into her yard so her 6 grandchildren could see the horses from the front porch. They were ages 2 to maybe 7 years old. There was a pile of decomposing grass in front of one house and we walked between it and the curb. Fancy stopped and pooped on top of it. I felt really embarrassed. I think she thought it was a manure pile. It did look like a manure pile and it smelled funny too. Some folks thought Trigger was a baby and Fancy was old because of their size differences. Both days, we got many comments on how calm Fancy and Trigger were in traffic. One man invited them to a yard of lush greenery. One family took pictures with them.

Fancy and I have learned a new talent. We can now, open the corral gate while I am in the saddle!

This lady said she had been riding for years. Cowboy asked her if she wanted to ride. She was hesitant at first. She put the wrong foot in the stirrups to mount and she did not appear to know how to ride, so Cowboy lead Trigger while she sat on him.

Trigger is living up to his motto! Cowboy had a time getting Trigger to back up, just like when we first got Trigger. I told Cowboy to dismount and try it from the ground and then try backing in the saddle. After we untacked & rinsed them we worked on backing Trigger from the ground.

After our 2 days of sunshiny, horsey, goodness, my wrist & shoulders are aching. Guess I will wait on cart training.

Guess what? Today while we got cleaned up, there was a teeny rain shower. LOL “)

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, All I Need to Know in Life I Learned From My Horse: A swift kick in the butt will get anyone's attention.

LITTLE COWBOY CLASS/Phrase of the day: SUITS ANYONE: except us, we hate him!

How are you doing? I am going to write a pure copy and paste message because I am so far behind with my HC blogs that you wouldn't believe it.

A lot has happened since I last blogged properly on here and I can't promise to be on as much as I would like.

Eddie has settled in really well. He and Pippin are great friends but boys will be boys and because of their giant size difference, 2000lbs vs 200lbs, they cannot be alone in the same field. So, Eddie has a pen within Pippin's huge day pen and they get at each other through the fence.

Eddie is the tall silent type and his previous owner has never heard him make a noise. Well, now that he's here he whinnies if we take Pippin for a walk and leave him behind. He nickers low and sweetly when Pippin is put in the pen near him. They are cute together.

We've had a couple of tough moments, health-wise, with both of them. Eddie had several episodes of choke earlier this year leading up to a major case which almost killed him. The vet actually thought he wouldn't make it and we were discussing the dreaded topic of carcass disposal…

Well, the long and short of it is, he's completely and absolutely healthy and looks the best he's ever looked. He's fit and shiny and has a spring in his step. That is, when he's not sleep walking which he'll do on a hot day like today.

3 weeks ago Pippin had surgery for the removal of 2 large enteroliths from his colon. They weigh about 3lbs and I've kept them as souvenirs. He's on the road to recovery and is also doing super well.

For a couple of months he was rapidly going downhill and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. Using a portable x-ray the vet discovered the stones. They are so huge that she actually screamed when spotted them on the radiograph. It's a wonder that he was still eating and pooping fine. Not sure how that was even possible.

Anyway, that's what's up here. I will try (really I will!) to write more often.

Leaving a vote for you. Have a great weekend!

Come visit me, Prince, Pippin (Remembering Melian) & Eddie.

Raining again. Seems like if it does not rain, we begin to wonder where the rains are. The rains have become kind of like a family member that is always there, just hanging around every day, with nothing to do but hang around.

Fancy seems happy eating her grain from the water tub instead of the feeder hanging on the fence.

Gotta tell you what happened yesterday! Several weeks ago, before the Helmet Awareness Day, I received an email that I shared with my horsey friends. It was an invitation to enter a contest giving away riding helmets and ipads. I entered the contest, forgot all about it. Yesterday the mail carrier went by and I did not even check the mail box because I was too busy. Late in the evening, my husband came in from work with the mail. I saw a large white envelope and asked what he had. He told me he did not know because it was for me. Only my first name and address was on the envelope and I did not recognize the sender. I went out on the car porch and opened it. Peeked inside and saw the Helmet awareness title. I thought they were just sending some info on helmet awareness. It was a letter of congratulations for winning and a certificate to mail into the Troxel company to select my Troxel Intrepid, helmet size and color along with some other information. Last night I visited the Helmets4Riders website for more info. They had over 6500 contest entries and a list of winners posted. Then I visited the Troxel website to view helmet colors and I was supposed to find something on Facebook. I found their Facebook page, but I did not find whatever I was looking for regarding the contest.
I never had a helmet before. When I receive it, I can practice safe horsemanship instead of just preach to Cowboy about how safe it is to wear his helmet. And I noticed on photos from our horse club fun day June29, Cowboy only rode when he was demonstrating the games to the other children, but I was so nervous about hosting the event that he slipped by me without his helmet on “(

Hi, here is a Fancy Sunday vote for you ♥

Hope your 4th of July weekend has been FUN!
The first part of our 4th was spent with my Mom. The 4th of July afternoon, we spent with horsey friends. They live across from the park where they do fireworks! Boy, did they have some awesome fireworks! And their horses did not even jump when they saw or heard the fireworks.

Some days it is hard to vote on HC. Guess they are still working on things.

We have not ridden. It storms every evening. I wanted to ride today after church, but it began to rain and now it is thundering.

I did go to the horse and tack auction Saturday. Had fun there before your it stormed.

Fancy seems to enjoy being alone. Trigger enjoys it too. They appear to be at peace now that they are separated.

HI, here is a good night Vote. I will read my blogs soon to see what is going on with you. Still raining here like every other day and some days it rains for two days in a row.
When I took Trigger to the vet last week, as I turned onto another street, I heard something sliding off the trailer that sounded like a chain. I could not remember what I had left on the trailer, and I could not find what ever it was when I returned. One day I will look for something and know that was the item that I lost that day. One day I rode an hour out and found a roll of tape still laying on the trailer. A few months ago, my house keys fell off onto a busy street. I did find the keys, but had to replace most of them because they were mangled beyond use. I keep losing things off the trailer. I gotta stop leaving things on the wheel hubs, they are not safe for keeping things. I told myself to start putting the things in the truck bed instead. Hope I can remember to do that.
My weekend was wonderful, I attended the chicken stock first. this lady gave Cowboy a 4 week old Guinea pig. We had to go Guinea pig shopping for food, hay, etc. We were there half the day, then went to the Horselover's Day an hour away. I was kind of tired during the drive. I almost fell asleep. I felt better when I got out of the truck. Cowboy and I met lots of people and some horses. Cowboy was known as the boy with the Guinea pig on a leash.
We got home late Saturday evening, then I had to prepare some things for our horse club meeting, which was today. A nice lady presented a Parelli demonstration tonight!
I am in the process of cleaning and gathering all the items for the family day I am hosting next weekend. I made horseshoe picture frames and looks like things are coming together.
Cowboy's baseball game was postponed due to rain, and VBS began Monday evening. VBS runs till Friday night. I usually begin to ride after VBS week is over. I am so ready. I need some good ole relaxing Fancy time.

Yesterday was very relaxing, when I do go back to work I fear it will be quite difficult. We have a "back to work program" that just means you ease into it slowly, I think you start at half days, that is not for a bit yet, likely another 2 months. I'm not going thru all this to re injure. Rain all day today, looks like the book and the couch, left votes, talk soon, love Donna Lee (}---{) PS get video, you post on HC so we can see, plus you get points for videos

Wow! That is a lot of good things happening for you! Have fun!

Somehow I have 5 events for this Saturday. (big accident) I am going to try to make the horseclub event first. Then I will try to stop by a friends family reunion, next I promised to attend a horselover's day in another city with a friend. Those are the events that I want to attend most of all. I do not know if I will have enough time or strength. All other events will have to fall in place if possible. I really do not want to hurt anyone's feelings if I do not attend their event. I am trying to get in bed early with hopes I am rested and wake up early. I will be online if I can. I might have to hit the hay early Saturday night from exhaustion.

Voted. I read my blogs, looks like most of us are really enjoying our equine pals this spring! Great blogs! And now we have a whole new weekend to enjoy more adventures, have fun :)

Trigger had a bath Wednesday evening, then he spent the night stalled. Trigger had his vet visit today. He loaded up nicely the first time, but he backed out before I got the butt bar up. The second time he stayed in there. Fancy ran around screaming bloody murder. I like to take them places without the other one so they can know that it is ok to be separated. They do not agree with that. LOL. When we returned, Fancy was filthy with sweat and dirt, from all of her running and screaming. When I turned Trigger loose, Fancy scolded him roughly for leaving her. After that, Fancy was nice to Trigger. I cannot believe how silly Fancy can be.

We really had a bad storm this evening. I was filling Fancy’s water tub when the storm began. The wind was exceptionally high and Fancy was playing in the water. I just put a tarp over Bandit’s (my Siberian Husky) kennel on his birthday, May 31, Well, the wind lifted that kennel and tossed it sideways into our chain link fence on that side of our yard. Bandit was a bit terrified, he ran into his dog house and stayed there until Cowboy and I got his kennel back in place. Then I took that tarp off. The wind did blow harder, and I was thankful the kennel stayed on the ground for the remainder of the storm. As we worked on the kennel, Fancy ran crazy then went to eat hay. I guess all the running wild and crazy did work up an appetite. Trigger did not seem to really care that the wind was up. He did join Fancy munching hay in the rain though.

It was amazing to see huge trees swaying wildly, almost touching the ground. It was beautiful and frightful at the same time. I hardly ever see this because I am usually in the house when the storms come up. I was glad when the storm was over and things were peaceful again.

HI, here is a vote. Just got home from a horse club meeting. I am glad I do not have to get up early, NO School!!! I asked my husband to give out the watermelon today because my wrist was tender and the melon weight was a bit much today. My husband gave all of it to
Fancy. He said Fancy loves watermelon so much like a special treat. Poor Trigger, he had none. Trigger came over and when he got no watermelon he went back to the hay. Next time I will give out the watermelon. I told my husband you have to split it between them.
Time for bed and we are still having rain showers every now and then.

We left a vote today, looks like another rain day coming up, I am off to physio this morning, I'm still not able to drive, so that is just one more thing that David has to do, I have to say, I like being driven around. There really is very little I can do with one arm, but, I can still let the guys out in the morning. I can slide the barn door open with one hand as long as it isn't windy, and because both of these guys drop their heads, I can get halters on, I can even carry hay, one flake at a time, it isn't much, bur I look forward to it. I hand walked Fancy this morning, while she ate grass. Today was my Siberian Husky, Bandit’s first birthday. Fancy gave Bandit a little nuzzle for his first birthday.
I am glad Fancy is out of the stall because, Fancy makes sure Trigger poops along the back fence line. I appreciate that, because it is easier to clean up with it all in one area. LOL. Fancy had to poop before I was done picking up and she pooped right on top of the poop pile that I had made. Now how considerate is that? What a doll :)

Hi Lena
With Jackie and Sterl settled in their new home and David and I in our new house, things were great, except Jackie's health was failing and his quality of life was sometimes quite poor. I convinced myself that I should really look for another horse because if something was to happen to Jackie, Sterl May would be alone. Plus I would like to ride again. After an EXTENSIVE search(please read ROYAL MES "HOW WE MET") I found Charlie. What can I say about Charlie, he is simply the best. Charlie arrived Oct.8,2008, Thanksgiving Sunday. Jackie passed quietly with David, Sterly and me by his side on June 9, 2010. She loved her little buddy, she watched and called for him for several days. Dr. Cook told me to let her be, they mourn the same as we do. We had him cremated and he is buried in the pasture where Sterl can be close everyday. This is her last move, it is my last move until they cart me of to the "old folks home" Everyday is an adventure, what I have tried to say this last month, is that thru all of it, STERLY GIRLY has always been there. THE END, LOVE TO ALL DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY.

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS: All I Need to Know in Life I Learned From My Horse: When in doubt, run far, far away.

Fancy was a very good girl at her vet check up this morning. I remembered at the last minute to get the vaccine in her hip instead of neck. She seemed to tolerate it better that way the last time. The vet measured her height for me. Fancy is 15 HH!!! I could tell she grew, but every time I measured her, I always get 14. ???. I knew I was not getting a correct reading when I measured her.

Hi Lena
Just when I was sure things could not get any worse, guess again. Not only was I looking for a new place for Sterl & Jackie to live, understand that boarding 2 horses that are not ride-able was out of the question. Jackie was also having some health issues, he had COPD and Cushing's disease, plus due to an old case of laminitis he wore special shoes, all of this cost $$$. You know that expression, "BEING AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME" Well, I could almost not believe my luck, I heard from a neighbor that a place just down the road was going to be available, to make a long story short, when I looked at it, it was perfect, it needed fencing and the barn needed some reno, but nothing like what I had been thru, the only catch was if we rented the barn and pasture, they really wanted us to take the house as well. I would actually be where my horses were, I could see them all day, it would be amazing. I believe in life it isn't where you go, it's how you get there....we were home. LAST STORY TOMORROW, THANKS TO EVERYONE, IT HAS BEEN GREAT FUN SHARING STERL'S JOURNEY, LEFT A VOTE, LOVE DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

we need your vote, please
Here comes another rainy day vote, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT, WE LOVE IT.
I just bet you are all thinking that finally everything is going my way and we all live happily every after.....not so fast. Mackie was without a doubt, a truly wonderful horse(please take a moment and read his"how we met"on his profile. He is ANGEL SASSY MAC. I think it best describes him to say that he was like a sick child, he was constantly struggling with something and of course, we worked thru it all. When we had been in the barn almost 9 years and Mackie was 11, EVERYTHING started to go downhill fast. The barn owners had a change of heart about retirement and decided to sell the property. There I was with 3 horses and looking for a new home again. I thought of tons of possibilities, some you don't want to hear. The farm sold in 3 days, however, the new owner gave me until spring to move, that gave us almost 10 months to find a new home. In the meantime, MACKIE'S health deteriorated and on AUG 8/2007 at the University of Guelph EQUINE HOSPITAL, with me by his side until the end, he was euthanized due to heart failure. He was only 12. I can tell you, I miss him every day. So, it was just me Jackie and Sterl May again. TO BE CONTINUED. LOVE DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

Votes for all
RAINY DAY VOTES FOR ALL, My search began again, Sonya and I had 3 horses lined up to look at, none were close to home so we made a day of it. The first 2 were not even possibilities, I was tired, it was getting on in the day and I wanted to just go home, Sonya convinced me we had come this far, let's just go look. The directions were bad, we got lost, when we finally got there I was in a bit of a cranky mood. Everything changed when we were introduced to Sassy Mac. He was so handsome (but I had learned that is no reason to pick a horse)His manners were excellent, I actually wondered for a minute if he was drugged, he wasn't, we spent several hours with him, hearing his history, his training, the personal medical reason the owner had to let him go. He was 8, 16hh and oh so sweet. I rode him, we video taped him, we came home to think it over. Mackie arrived the next week, Jackie and Sterly had a new friend and I had a horse to ride. Life was good again. One thing I have learned over the years, with horses, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING, talk tomorrow, thanks for helping Sterly, love to all, DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

Once I got hurt, there really was no way for me to shake off the fear, and once BRAY was on to my fear, we were going nowhere together, I decided that although I really LOVED that horse, I didn't LIKE him very much. I sold him to a young woman at a large show barn, she had far more riding experience than me, plus she had a large support group around her. I was happy for BRAY, I really thought he would do well in that environment. He was such a handsome guy(his picture is a the bottom of the page)So, off he went to his new adventure. Now, here I was back a square one again, just me, Sterly and Jackie, there had to be a horse out there for me....Three weeks after I sold BRAY, I got a call from his new owner, he had an accident in his paddock, when he came in that night, he walked on 3 legs, refusing to put right hind on the ground. She got two veterinary opinions, both agreed after xray and ultrasound that the stifle muscle was torn, prognosis was hopeless. She chose to euthanize. She asked if I'd like to come and say good bye, because he had actually been my horse more than hers. It wasn't suppose to be like this, I had already said good bye once. I went, I cried, and I came home to Sterly. TOMORROW, LOVE DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

You do fill up a day, don't you???
The barn was done, safe and Sterl had her little companion, it was close to home,it was on my way to work, so I could stop at 4:30 in the morning and, for example if I thought I had left lights on, I could pop back over before bed to check. This next chapter is not one I'm very proud of. When Jackie and Sterl were settled in, I started looking for a horse to ride. I found Brazen Virtue, we called him Bray. I went against Dr. Cook's advise and bought him as a 3 year old, to be fair he was a peach at 3, but by the time he turned 5, he was an idiot. Bray was trotter bred Standardbred, he was a bit over 17hh, and he was gorgeous. Wrong reason to buy a and learn. When I started to have trouble with him, I did what I thought was right, I got help. I had 3 horses now and had them at home, I didn't have a lot of extra cash. I sent Bray off to training school, that helped some, but once back home he started to fall back into his bad habits. This sweet at 3 horse, turned into a 5 year old that tried "to kill" me, I rode him and was just glad every time I got off in one piece, I found I was making excuses not to ride, things like, it's too windy or too wet or I'm tired or he's too fresh. I finally admitted, that I was afraid of him. The last straw came early one cool spring morning, I was feeding, put out hay, Bray was fresh, I was between Bray and Jackie, out of the corner of my eye I saw the foot come up, I remember saying, "don't you dare" that was the last thing I remember, when I came too, I could not find my glasses, I don't think I knew what had happened, I managed to get to the phone and called David to come help me find my glasses. We went to the hospital, his kick caught me on the forehead, 17 stitches and a serious concussion. It was over for me and Bray. When I look back at what I know now, when I look at pictures from that time(today's profile shot, and one more at the bottom) in almost all the pics, Sterly was between Bray and Jackie, she never trusted him. I should have listened to her, she has never let me down, TO BE CONTINUED, LOVE YOU ALL, DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

Sorry I have not been very active. My family promised to clean Fancy's corral while I was under doc care. Well, Fancy's corral was only cleaned once during the first week I was down. It took a few hours, but I was able to clean up for my Fancy Thursday. The remainder of that day and night was very painful and I did not feel up to computing.
Today we had to get ready for our horseshow tomorrow! Guess What??? I had help! My husband helped me clean Fancy and he put the shavings in her stall. I was shocked!!! I hope Fancy stays clean til the morning. She is sparkling. I told my husband she should stay in the house with us tonight, because she was sooo clean. He did not share my thoughts on that one. LOL.

Have a beautiful weekend. We will be back soon!

we need your vote, please
Feels like winter is back in Ontario. We left chilly, windy votes for all.
The next stage of Sterl May story could go on and on, I'm just going to give you the highlights. Even tho we live in the country, we had no place to keep her, so I gathered my thoughts and started to look for somewhere she could call home. I did have some criteria, like it needed to be safe, preferably with some kind of companion, Sterl has never been alone, it needed to be close enough that I could get there daily to feed etc. my work day starts early and I did not want to be driving all over the country side before work every day. I put the word out every where, I asked neighbors, I literally started knocking on doors. It was not looking good, until finally someone told me about an old abandoned barn not far from where we lived. There was an old shack of a house on the property that was rented to a young man that farmed with his family, he kept the house as a place to get away from work and be alone. But the barn and pasture had been let go for about 15 years. I took a look at it and at first rejected the whole idea, way too much work involved. But after David and one of my brothers hacked their way through the overgrowth around the barn door, they said "this could work". I used my imagination, the barn had water and electric, it had a pasture. about 5 acres, it needed fencing, but I saw in my mind a safe peaceful home for my girl. I located the owners, I told them my story. It was like it was meant to be. These people owned this property and had planned that one day when they retire, they would build on this land, they where huge animal lovers and where touched by my dedication to Sterl May. They said "if you think that place will work for you, you are welcome to it" the only restriction was, if something goes wrong we don't want to hear about it, I was responsible for the clean up and fencing, and I had to get along with Robert, the tenant in the little house. WOO HOO, Sterl was getting a home, roll up my sleeves and get to work, TO BE CONTINUED, LOVE DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

we appreciate the support
GOOD MORNING, We left you all a vote. Now that I had an answer although, not the answer I wanted, I have to admit that I did fall apart, there were lots of tears. Reaction varied at the barn, most were understanding and sympathetic but remember the lady that said I needed to "hit her harder", well she said "I don't know what you're crying about, you just sell her and get something else, it's not like you raised from a baby" I have never believed that animals were disposable, and I promised Sterl a home until the day she died. But, reality set in David said that I could not continue to pay board to go 4x a week to simply pat her, there was the wear and tear on the vehicle and the gas for all the travelling back and forth, for what, I can't ride her. I needed to THINK. bringing her home was not an option, we had no land or barn. I didn't know what to do, YET, but I knew I WAS NOT GETTING RID OF HER. Talk soon, Love Donna Lee & STERLY GIRLY

Here is an early morning vote for you, STERL MAY and I appreciate all the wonderful support, thank you.

Dr. Cook went to the University Hospital to go over Sterl's case with her Drs, he then came to us to explain the diagnosis in detail. This type of condition is sometimes seem in very high end dressage horses, because they are held in such tight collection for long periods, enormous stress is placed on the spine, it is sometimes caused from something like a fall eg. a horse flips over in cross ties, or an accident in a trailer, that type of thing, also studies have shown that pacing Standardbreds are more susceptible because of the diagonal motion of the legs during pacing, BINGO, STERL IS PACER BRED. Regardless of how it happened the outcome is the same. Sometimes with rest and time the bones will actually fuse, therefore no more rubbing of bone on bone and so no pain.
The bottom line was Sterl's riding days were over. Dr. Cook suggested that I give her a year off and try her again, in the meantime, she will learn to accommodate herself, she won't do anything that hurts, I now had a pet....see you tomorrow, Love DONNA LEE & STERLY GIRLY

It is ok to say ‘I love you’ before tragedy strikes.

Enjoyed my Fancy time, early this morning. We practiced for showmanship and barrels. Then I let her enjoy the pretty greens in the back yard. I could not believe she was being so good after not being ridden for so many weeks. Trigger ate in peace while Fancy was out with me. Then he screamed his head off for Fancy to return. Fancy and Trigger enjoyed some carrots before I left them to their own devices. I can’t wait till tomorrow!

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS: ...and I whispered to the horse; "Trust no man in whose eye you do not see yourself reflected as an equal" (Don Vincenzo Giobbe circa 1700)

LITTLE COWBOY CLASS/ Word of the day: HOME BRED: knows nothing despite being raised on the back porch.

Have a peaceful spring night,
Love from Fancy & Frances ♥

Thanks for letting me know May has 31 days:) We add days as the nominations come in. It looks pretty grim when you have 31 days and only 4 or 5 horses on the calendar. We appreciate the nominations you have sent. Please send nominations as often as possible. Thanks Team HOTD
