Ouch!
What a cutie! :D
I have decided to collect stories about falling off our beloved friends, since I took one the other week. Please post one if you have one!!!
Well Dream and Marquessa went out for rides the past two weeks. Last weekend I made the unfortunate decision to wear snowpants while riding. This is a gross miscalculation to make while bareback. Here I thought "Alright Quess you want to run, I get it. Let's try cantering!"
There's a teeny tiny catch to this.
She does a weird little hop\kick before she starts to canter, and the second she picked up a canter I was off balance. She quickly started to turn a circle and WHOOSH I was on the ground. My ill-fitting helmet smacked my skull and I can assure you it hurt. But according to my mom it was pretty fun to watch...
MORAL OF THE STORY: WEAR HELMETS THAT FIT! And maybe don't wear snowpants when you ride bareback.

Fancy is in the stall, while Trigger wanders around peacefully. It was warm this morning but it cooled down quickly with a few drops of rain. Knowing Spring is certain to be here in a few days, I have felt excitement for upcoming horsey events. I hope Fancy’s booboo heals up soon.
