How We Met

I had just bought my horse, Peanut, a few months before, and Bob was at the same boarding stable. Bob was skinny, and had barely anything to eat, since he was pushed around by the other horses. No one rode the 17 year old, so my dad began to ride him. Bob was put up for sale, and the day that we switched boarding stables, Dad purchased Bob. After a few months at Apple Creek, Mom and Dad finally bought a farm where both horses could live.
We became fast friends, and he was extremely trusting. He let me do anything with him, including trails.
Bobby has flourished, and has become quite big. He got into shape and taught me how to canter in the fall of 2012. He was the best until his hip gave out, leading to a sudden fall while I was riding him. He was since retired, and lives on the pastures during the summer. He gives pony rides to young kids, and babysits a young donkey (Bud) and Arab (Butter), and plays brother to Peanut.
