How We Met

My pony is 41 years old, and I was getting to big for her, so my horsey friend knew of a guy that had a gorgeous colt for sale, when my mom and I went to look at him, it was love at first sight. We have now had him for 7 and 1/2 years..

Voted, It's the weekend! At our house it is really raining sooo hard right now!!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND :)

THANKS FOR THIS HELPFUL INFORMATION SUSAN AND SING WITH CROSS CREEK HERD! ----- (from Susan) here's something I read about horses eating poison ivy:
" But there is a reason to appreciate poison ivy, and that is: horses love to eat it! (But find it on a store shelf? No.) It apparently doesn't bother horses at all, and ingesting it actually helps relieve their inflammations of various kinds. Horses with arthritis, laminitis, and dermatitis are drawn to it and will readily consume gobs of it."

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS: All I Need to Know in Life I Learned From My Horse: 'Ignore cues. They're just a prompt to do more work.'

LITTLE COWBOY CLASS/ Phrase of the day: NO VICES:  especially when he wears his muzzle.
