How We Met

I was at a local horse auction with my mom and friends just looking at tack for sale and maybe a horse in really bad shape that needed us to rescue it. well they stared bring horses through and there weren't very many that day for some reason but at the end of the sale a trader brought in this beautiful 14 hand white horse. The bidding started and then just stopped and they rushed her out of the sale and said the sale was over, ( weird right) well I wanted to know why they rushed her out so I went to the office and they told me she had blood warts? Ive never heard of that but I went to the owner any way just to see for my self. When I did find her she was in a pen all by her self in the back and didn't look great at all, I did see what they were talking about and all it was was cancer. so I convinced my mom to buy her from the trader who was set on a price even though her cancer was the size of a lemon, but after some arguing we were able to get her for $250. turns out we just got her in time, our vet said if it had been another 6 months it would of been terminal cancer. She is such and amazing horse, im glad she was able to reside at our rescue now in Kansas. :).
