Pet Peeves: 6-6-2014 update: So Loosey got her 1st shoes on a couple weeks ago, also I got her teeth floated and she has been riding so much better! I have an amazing opportunity to give lessons to a young girl that lives up the street. I have let her ride around on my pony, now she wants lessons over the summer! This is going to be so fun, i cant wait!

Update:7-27-14: Rode Loosey in a hackamore all week and has been doing so amazing, been doing great on jumps, got a video made and put it on YT, also put her on a couple horse sale websites.
Update 8-4-14:Took her to the LC show and did poles with her and she was so soft and willing (just trotted through them) then last week took her to the triune club show and she didnt do as good but then again i hadnt done poles with her since the last show. a family came to look at Loosey on Sunday and they came back today but decided not to get Loosey, she was too much for the girl. Last year the young girl had gotten bucked off of her horse and is still really scared and just really needs a dead-head. they really liked Loosey but they are not the right match. i think Loosey is to sensitive for her, the girl really needs a dead-head. she is such a good little rider and wants to ride sooo bad but she is just way to scared.

My Horse's motto: Me and my friend bought two project ponies to break/ride and maybe show them over the summer and then sell them!

UPDATE 02-20-2014: Rode Loosey all by herself in the woods the past few days, and she did awesome! i have been getting a really good controlled canter. she is doing great about stoping when i say whoa! we are going to put both the ponies on the internet today! so, THEY ARE FOR SALE!! im going to get some good riding pics of them today!

Update 02-25-2014: a young girl can out on Sunday to ride Peanut and really liked her so she is going to come back this next sunday and try out Loosey! So happy!

UPDATE 03-03-2014
Well the girl came out on Sundany and rode Peanut and Loosey and really loved them and wants to buy them but cant afford them at the moment, so we might work out a deal or something. In the meantime i put both ponies on like 4-5 different websites last night and I got a call from a lady wanting more pics of Lucy and another lady wanting a vid of Peanut! So exciting! So tomorrow im going to the barn and get them all cleaned up and get vids/pics!

UPDATE 3-4-2014: Ok, so my very patient sister helped me take great vids and pics of the ponies today! So pleased with how they turned out! Sent some to both ladies that are interested in them! Im putting up the youtube links to both ponies videos of me riding them! please go check them out and tell me what you think! Thanks! Oh and i also uploaded more pics of them on their HC profile!

Update 03-14-2014:
The people were supposed to come this weekend to look at the ponies but havent called back. oh well. hopefully get some interested buyers soon! Its been a lot of fun! I have been riding the hair off of Loosey this week, she got loose AGAIN last Friday and I ran her full speed in the round pen for an hour! She aint going think about doing that again!

Update 3-29-2014:
So we had to move both ponies off the farm, farm owner is getting rid of all horses. So my friend took Peanut to another farm and i am keeping Loosey up the street from my house. Im thinking about taking her to some shows this summer, hopefully get some interested buyers!

Update 04-16-2014: Rode Loosey up the street and gave some kids pony rides on her! She did great, but some of the kids did spook her. So we have some things we need to work on!

How We Met

Peanut is a 7yr mare, had never been rode before we got her, but is doing absolutely fabulous under saddle! Very willing.
On the other hand the supposedly broke one, Loosey, is the problem child! haha, she has obviously gotten away with a lot of crap! she broke out of her stall the 2nd night we had her and it took a lasso to catch her! She jumped out of the round pen twice and ran back to the barn, and the other day she kicked down her stall wall and jumped over to the other side, thankfully it was an empty stall!
WHEW! And we haven't even had them for a week!

01/25/2014 UPDATE: went and rode the ponies today with my friend! and they did absolutly great! Peanut is being very willing/obedien- t to the things we ask her, even took her over a little jump! On Loosey, still trying to get a straight line down! she is hard to turn and im wondering if her teeth need floating... but then again she trys all the time to see what she an get away with! Loped her for the first time today, couldnt get a circle down so i just rode by the rail and she did better!

UPDATE 01-31-2014:
Had a great ride on both Peanut and Loosey today! I got a awesome controlled lope on Loosey! And Peanut even did some lead changes, even if they werent asked for, but its a start! Change Loosey to a German martingale and she is giving to the bit SO much better! So proud of how they are improving!
UPDATE: 02-03-2014
Well Peanut was quite the little jumper gal today! We took her over a lot of cross jumps and she was so willing to take every one of them! Loosey did great, as long as her buddy is in the arena she does great and doesnt think much about running back to the barn! In the middle of the ride she decided that she wasnt going to stop or back up so we had a little "come to Jesus mettin" bout that! and she got better! Someone is coming to look at Loosey soon, and they are going to ride her sometime!

UPDATE: 02-09-2014
We rode both ponies on a trail ride today, and they.did. amazing! I could not have been more happier with how they did, they didnt spook or act buddy sour! And they did great crossing streams and we cantered them in a huge field and they were great, didnt try to run off.

This program
produced the stallion Gooseberry, Crow Creek (Lory's top calf horse), and
many good mares. Hyde and Dede then bought the other half interest in Blue
Valentine from Del. Hyde felt like it was a great privilege to rope steers
on Blue. In 1970 Hyde roped at his last Cheyenne Frontier Days on Blue. ~Thanks for voting~ **Copper**
