Hey Comet! Thanks for the blog...you got our vote today. How is your attempt to start English riding going? When I was 5, I began my love of horses. My sis and I started in English and had been to 2 different English riding stables. At the second stable, we took jumping classes, but my mom didn't really want us to do that. Then, we went to a friends house and started to ride western, and took western lessons. That's when we got Smoke. We hadn't met Cocoa yet, though. So, we rode there for about a year with the owners horses, and then bought Smoke. We decided to move to a different place, and that's when we met Cocoa. We took a few lessons there in western, but now we just do pleasure riding in both disiplines. We do some jumping too, just for fun though. We do the little schooling shows that are held at our stables as well. There is a little hunter hack class that Cocoa and I do. Cocoa used to do a lot of jumping when he was young, so he is really experienced. Now he is really old, so we can only do a little bit with him, but its still fun. We are trying to train Smoke to do some jumps. We set up a course to do with him, and he does it really well. He has jumped over the creek in his pasture loads of times, so we now he can jump! Well, blog us back and give us a vote!Come visit me, Ruffian, Cocoa & Smoke.

WHOA. Awwww. That's a adorable picture. I have a 14.2hh arab too! Our horses have lots in common. I'm doing western but I'm starting english my Junior year! Mine hardly ever canters for more than a little while and he eats way too much! This is freaky how much our horses have in common!Come visit me, Cully, Shadow, Boyes Stallion 176 (Cotton) & Jazzs Sonny Dawn.
