Brrr, it was cold and windy again yesterday, but this morning it looks like the wind finally died down. Yesterday I didnt do any riding, I just did some groundwork with Sierra.I have been teaching her to back out my space by wiggling the leadrope, and she is getting pretty good at it, except I cant seem to get her to back up straight. When I wiggle the leadrope she pulls her head to the side and backs up sideways.I have tried bumping her head back around every time she pulls it away, but then as soon as I ask her to back up, she just pulls it away again. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to get her to back up straight? If you do, they would be much appreciated.
Question of the day: How often do you ride your horse, and for how long?
I ussually ride every other day, and for about an hour and a half at a time.(Of course this varies)
