CANTER-Ohio www.canterusa. org/ohio Great volunteer-only charity, no administrative costs, 100% of everything we raise goes to trailering, vet costs, board, feed, and medicines necessary to rehabilitate retired/rescued racehorses. August 2, 2008 CANTER-Ohio Equine Education Clinic at Cherokee Stables on Borror Road in Grove City, OH 43123. 10 am-2 pm $15 admission, multiple speakers including OSU vet, equine clinic vet, farrier, & an equine massage therapist on hand to cover topics: colic, basic health care & vaccinations, shoeing, & massage, etc. Lots of information for just $15. HELP
I am sending a blog to as many horse profiles as I can. I need help. I have a friend that has a horse that is very old. She has lost interest in him and finds it difficult to go see him often. She saved him from and abusive owner so, due to previous sway back, he has a hard time being ridden. He can only walk and trot breifly. She wants to give him away to a happy home where he can just sit in a pasture with other horses for the rest of his days.
