Jakey is great!

thanks for the vote I really wanted to ride to but oklahoma got hit by this huge ice storm and we lost power for at leats a week and a half I am at school so i can get on the computer to write people back. That is why it took me so long to respond. I will try to e-mail you!!! we just got our power back on!!!!!! Pray for Pony UPDATE
Jakey currently has pneaumonia. We are giving him pennicilin twice a day. He is sluggish and just doesn't have is normal spark. He just isn't right. I feel so bad. I can't do anything to help him. He will suddenly have a coughing fit and I can only stand there and hope he isn't choking agian. I love this little guy. I can't give him up. :*( Please pray for us.
PS. On a good note: One of the farm goats had a beautiful little girl last night. I helped deliver her. I have decided to keep her since my little buck was killed in a terrible accident. I have named her Falling Star. She has a very large star in the middle of her forehead and no other white. I hope she will roan out like her mother to a gorgous strawberry roan with a dorsal stripes and black points. She is totally bonded to me. She comes and talks to me. Pray for Pony
Jakey choked last night. I got called at about 8:30. I ran out to the barn to find my poor pony in bad shape. The vet came out and tubed him. Thankfully we were able to resolve it. Today, he is in good shape. He is still coughing but his throught must be very swollen. I just hope that he will be OK. I just love this little guy. No one belives me when I tell them he is thirty. I show them his front teeth, or lack there of. He has little nubbins for top teeth. I never knew a horse could live without top teeth but he does just fine. We are not sure if he is an Icelandic but he sure looks it and he is sweeter then suger. He is also the smartest horse in the barn.
