Pickels is a beautiful saddlebred. I love all of the extra pictures and I left him a vote also. Thank you for the blog and vote that you left for Spider. Spider used to crib (he was stalled most of his life) and after about 3 years of having other horses to socialize with and pasture to run around in he quit cribbing... Cribbing
When we bought Leo, we did some research on Saddlebreds and we foung out that when Saddlebreds are young, they are kept in small stalls that are totally surrounded in black fabric so the horses had nothing to do so they would crib. if your Saddlebred is older ,he probably just made a habit out of it.Andrea, Ann Arbor, MI.
