Nicknames: Mostly Bubba or beast. But when he's being naughty i call him booger.

Height: almost 16 hands.

Color: Toughy has such a magnificent red color. It's hard to say wether he is a bay or a sorrel. I like to call him Red Velvet.

Type of Riding: Precision mounted drill riding. Liberty, Trick, Dressage, and alot of ghymkhanas.

My Horse's Achievements: Wow, alot. I've had him for almost 2 years now and he has done parades, annual show, dessage, rodeo, white divison shows specialties and drill.

My Horse's Favorite Treat: Definetly grain, and skittles. But only the blue ones.

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Toughy LOVES to run! His amazing speed, agility, and stanima makes him great for drill. (we're in westernaires on Crimson Rangers. )Liberty is his favorite. And he also (like any other horse) likes to eat.

Pet Peeves: He doesnt like deworming, weaaring his winter coat, (he thinks hes too tough for it) and he HATES lunging.

How We Met

well, I was a renter in westernaires for almost two years. My parents had been thinking about getting a horse. I knew for sure that i wanted a wild one. I found the 20th anniversary Penrose adoption on the internet. After an early class at Westernaires, my mom and I drove out to Canon City. I had my eyes on a differant horse but as soon as i saw Toughy it was love at first sight. During the auction my mom was bidding against an older looking cowboy. He noticed my Westernaires uniform. He said, "I saw them proform earlier today, and i think that is an amazing organization. And I want you to have this horse." I was so happy I cried. that was the best day of my life. We have been through alot and he is and always will be, My best friend. We have finally made it to red division (after skipping aaa and half a year on Nighthorse were on Crimson)and we're running like crazy and loving it!.

Bath Day!!!! Since we have a Parade and two shows this weekend, today was toughy's bath day. He behaved very well and grazed most of the time untill i had to wash his tail.
