I just had to send you a vote - you are beautiful and my human mom had a cat named Kemah so your name caught our our eye. Our Kemah was a Ragdoll cat, very pretty like you but sadly had to be put to sleep at the age of about 16 due to renal failure and stroke just about 2 years ago. We still miss him. kemah is growing a nice fluffy winter coat. her training is also going very well. she has just been taught to neck rein, and is builidng some nice muscle too. :) we just adore her. and my foot still hurts. :D Come visit me, Kemah.

I had them in there for the first few times he pulled the cart so that he would have a little weight to pull. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to respond. Coat supplements
No, I don't use supplements at all. I'm old fashioned in believing that their body has it's own way of compensating. I would only use the supplements if she had like bald spots all over that I couldn't figure out what was wrong which hasn't happened yet. I do use a rpoduct called M-T-G on her feet because otherwise she will get scratches under all of her hair. The M-T-G is also supposed to promote hair growth and I will say that I have been impressed because in June another horse that was sharing her pasture, chewed her mane bald in about a 4 inch section of the white part of her mane. So I added the M-T-G to her mane when I have been putting on her feet (about once a month). When I saw her last at the end of August, her mane has grown out to about 3 inches in length! And when I say she was bald, I mean she was bald. At the 3 inch length it is just now starting to fold back over too. I was really impressed with that.Come visit me, Kahlua.

Mane Issues
Sho-Sheen by Absorbine works wonders for the mane and tail. I use it all the time to tame and condition Kahlua's mane. She normally has a double mane, but this past summer she really shed a lot of hair including her feather but it will all come back this winter. She did the same thing last year. Thanks for the vote!
