Type of Riding: I ride English with him, we do some dressage, showmanship (halter)equitat- ion, jumping,english pleasure and some western show stuff

My Horse's Achievements: Yes, we have worked on showmanship for 6 months and have been in 3 shows and won them all I’m very proud of him for that

My Horse's Favorite Treat: He loves his peppermint treats

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: He loves it when I come to the barn to see him he puts his head over his stall guard and nickers to me. He likes it when I groom him and he loves it when I give him treats. He bends his head around so I can see his whole face and pricks his ears forward and I cant resist lol. He gives hugs to, he pulls me in toward his neck and hugs me. His favorite thing to do though is follow me around in the pasture and put his head on my shoulder and I just talk to him and he listens. I love him sooo much

Pet Peeves: He hates his girth being tightened, he gritts his teeth and pinned his ears, but he doesn’t kick

How We Met

the barn that I board mo at is really nice and clean and there are a lot of horses there... anyway we were supposed to buy this horse named hank, a thoughbred show horse, I rode him around a couple times and I didn’t really like his gaits...when we were about to leave Mo stuck his head over his stall guard and grabbed onto my sweater and pulled me towards him and I looked at him and I knew he was the one.... 2 months later I told my mom I wanted her to buy him.. but she said no, later that day she took me out to the barn and told me to go around and feed, when I got close to Mo's stall it was all decorated with ribbons and fancy stuff and his papers were taped to his stall and in big letters said " HI MICHAELA IM YOUR NEW HORSE" I was so happy. then we had a shopping spree for me and mo I got supplies and a new saddle with a pink cover and a bridle and every thing a girl needs for her horse ... it was the best day ever !.

AWE UR SO LUCKY! that is such a sweet story! your so lucky to have u mom do that 4 u! my parents said "NO" to a horse, but dont they know "no" means "go for it" to a horse girl?! i went and got my aunt, and a great friend and got minnie. i had been working a job just before i got minnie so i was set to take care and feed her. but recently i lost my job but i'm not worried. i'll get 1 soon. my aunt got me my tack for my birth day, and minnie. since i'm only a kid, i could not sign the adoption papers to own minnie so i got the cash and aunt ashlee put her name on the papers ansd me as "co applicant" so minnie is mine now! i luv u story u got my vote blog back please!
